Auto Alpina Springs treated me as a pariah

<p>I took my car bmw 120i for a routine service on Thursday the  23rd March 2017  ''I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED THE DEALER TO DO A VEHICLE CHECK FOR ME'' I took my car that afternoon and drove back home parked the car never used it till Saturday the 25th i drove about 18 kilometers and the car stopped in the middle of the road and would not start again without any sign or warning that there is something wrong, i immediately called my husband for assistance as it was outside working business hours for Auto Alpina Springs my husband came and the still would not start he had to call his cousin to come and assist to tow the car back home. On Monday morning i then called Auto Alpina Springs and spoke to Dannie and explained to him what had happened and how i need their assistance he told that is not their fault and if i need the dealer to look at the car again i must make means to bring the car back to the dealer for diagnosis and that will come with a charge(charge amount not disclosed) i explained to him that i do not have money to cover for the diagnosis nor do i have money to hire a towing truck and Dannie replied in a form of a question do you not have ''AA'' call them to come and tow the car....i asked him to put me through to their complaints department or to a senior person so i can escalate the matter he refused to connect me through to his line Manager and said i would get him to call you back as i need to discuss with him first what you are saying trying to put a blame on us i told Dannie i would appreciate it if he can get his line Manager to call me back,i received a call after 30 minutes from a guy called Azhar Abed who then repeated everything that Dannie said to me that they don't have a towing truck i will have to get one my self and get the car checked out and i will be liable for the diagnosis and labour as they are not responsible for whatever might be wrong with the car,i asked him how would you know that if you are not even willing to check what exactly is the problem and why was i not made aware of extra findings that might not be mechanical on the car he told he is not taking any responsibility if i want the car to be checked i must bring it and what ever that will be a finding from the diagnosis will be my bill including towing he even offered ... i quote him ''i can organise our towing guys and negotiate discount for you'' i am so disappointed with the service i received from them and regret why ever entrusted Auto Alpina Springs with my car.</p> <p> </p> <p>I expected the dealer to be symphatetic to my situation atleast take ownership to come to my house tow the car have it tested or checked to see what is wrong and take it from there as they were supposed to check and avoid such from the initial service point.</p> <p>My car never ever stopped while driving  i have never had such an experience and am terrified of a thought what if this happened to me at night and far from home.</p> <p> </p> <p>Dannie and Azhar this is not the way to treat your paying customers.</p>
