I sent a query and after 8 days they come back and apologize for not responding within 5 days Now after 13 days query is still not resolved
I was referred to eye specialist,floater which affected my vision. Diagnosed and scheduled for cataract surgery. I had to obtain approval from Gems and informed by Gems the procedures is covered by PMB. I had the surgeries and my copayment to the specialist and anesthetist is R20000..I wrote in March x3 and April x2.....NO RESPONSE FROM GEMS. Acknowledged yes with query numbers. NO ANSWERS.. I WAS ALSO REFERRED TO SKIN SPECIALIST....result cancer and REFERRED to a plastic surgeon for consultation and biopsies for Monday 4th May. This is serious and again I called GEMS.The procedures again are covered on PMB and the surgeon must write a memo to GEMS to register for cancerous growths. My wife is the main member who received a 3.9% increase and GEMS increased deductions in excess of 28%..I am benefit no 01 who does not receive a pension. The burden on her is huge. GEMS WERE BRILLIANT WHEN I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH IPF AND SUBSIDIZED MY MEDICATION.....THANKFUL FOR THAT..However I am financially concerned when they state PMB BENEFIT BUT NOT REALLY.
Today I phoned their number. When answering....very clear.BUT WHEN THE PHARMACY ANSWERS ,SCRATCH AND THEY SAY HELLO HELLO CANT HEAR YOU. I PHONED ON 3 DIFFERENT DEVICES.... THE SAME. They won't even phone back
I called today at 11am. Spoke to tens of people with reference no from Mabel to several others until been connected at 13h00 to Thabile reference 070126Q4JRF I am a pensioner aged 76. To be transferred to numerous consultants. MY QUESTION: WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF IT WAS AN EMERGENCY. To be on the phone from 11am till after 1pm is disturbing to say the least. I have never in my life experienced such a poor response from a call center. We are dependent on this medical aid but the service must improve
The northgate branch gave us 150% great SERVICE. From the branch manager Brand, service manager and Mr Grant zhendricks. We have only shopped at TAFELBERG
We contacted our counselor ward 5 re erf in settlers drive. ALL THE ****S AND TUMBLE ****S AND GRASS BLOWS INTO OUR DRIVEWAY OF ALBANY ROAD. We are pensioners and have to clean the cities ******* twice a day. Counselor says a portion of this erf belongs to garden cities. We write to them.....no response. Ward 5 counselor does not consider old people. Our vote is going elsewhere
We have repeatedly asked/requested garden cities to cut their share of property on settlers drive, edgemead with them not even acknowledging emails. Their ******* blows into properties in Albany road.
Medipost phoned me yesterday and said my medication will be delivered Friday The medication arrived today...Thursday
On the 28th August my medication from gems pharmacy or shall I say maharaja Delivered to me BUT the medication has been changed without notification from them. A generic of a generic of another generic has changed. What is more frustrating is that the script from my local doctor has not been received or despatched. I wrote to gems and no answer as yet
We were 2nd in line and several clients after us were helped first and a few employees were standing around. We have been waiting already for 28 minutes. Century city nedbank is pathetic.
