BE AWARE! Paid R143 000 deposit to Stewart (owner of Cape Renovate T/A Aquatic Pools), and between August and now (Nov) only them shell was delivered (after he lied to us and gave us the run-around for weeks, and only supplied when we told him we're going to the police). To date, he has completed nothing - no pool components, no automatic pool cover, and we are owed more than R100 000 in goods after 4 months. our house cannot be completed due to this, and a new contractor is going to cost us R160 000+ to complete the job Stewart was paid to do. Late or no deliveries, lies, delaying tactics and fraud is all part of the game with him.
<p>I bought a new A200 on an Agility contract 3 years ago. When the end of term came, I wanted to settle the final amount and take full ownership of the vehicle.</p> <p> </p> <p>From about 3 months before the end date, I have been trying to get the info on the process, and even until the date of end of contract, could not get a statement for the final payment, or banking details etc. After numerous calls, emails, no responses, I finally got the info... but it was a super painful process.</p> <p> </p> <p>Full payment (R260 000) was made as EFT, and confirmed as received on 16 March 2017. I live in Cape Town and was then told to collect my registration docs from Jo-Burg??? lastly, I have asked numerous times whether there is anything else I should do, and was told NO. Then I finally received the registration docs, and now there's a yellow form with someone's ID in the envelope. Called again, was told that its optional to take these docs to the traffic dept. But I wnt be able to sell the car if I haven't changed the title holder??</p> <p> </p> <p>The last straw was today (4 April) when I got an "arrears" statement indicating that the settlement of R260 000 is still outstanding and they cannot close my account? When I called the financial services department, I was told they geerate statements but only send them our a month later? And I cannot get a revised one? This is terrible service!</p>
