Dotcom Africa's email marketing is misleading to lure potential clients (such as myself) into signing a 12 month directory listing contract, which in fact does not boost website traffic, does not boost sales and generates zero leads! Their 2022 email marketing states the following: web searches: 8m+ monthly, web visitors: 1m+ monthly, mobile app downloads: 250k users. Their 2019 email marketing states the following: 500-800k unique visitors per month, 5m search clicks per month and growing, mobile app 200k users. The above information they are so proud to advertise is not true! I have recently run website traffic tests with 3 different companies for the government directory listing website and found there are between 3000 and 5000 users per month. Their apps have been downloaded +/- 300 times! So where do they get their numbers from? My business and a friends business have been listed with this company for 6+ months, yet in all this time we have never had any boost in sales, zero website traffic, zero leads! I have checked google analytics for link referrals and NOTHING comes back from their listing, NOTHING in 6+ months but you have 1m+ monthly visitors and 8m+ web searches? Please GTFO! We actually get much better results advertising on Instagram for R70 per day, compared to their outrageous R1000 p/m! Words of advice if you still have doubts about my findings, contact a website developer and ask them to run tests on their sites! Don't be alarmed at what you find, simply post your results here and create a better business awareness for others!
SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM! Its basically harassment every day, in all areas of communication: email, call, sms! STOP!
Started out great and then no feedback and no phone calls were being answered for 3 days! I would rather build my own units and mess it up, than order from these guys again! Sis wena!
Great prices, extremely bad service! 1. 3 days worth of begging for an invoice (on two occasions). 2. Being told we will receive our package on Wednesday, but gets dispatched Thursday! 3. 3 days for packages to arrive from Durban to Amanzimtoti (its a 25 minute drive). The prices are great, but not worth the admin and service (or lack thereof). We will rather order from international suppliers and wait two weeks, than go through the above again.
