<p>On the 30th of April 2017 at 10h01 I called Flysafair call centre ( ********** 351) to change my flight which was on the same day at 17h10 to the 1st of May 2017.</p> <p>I was informed that because the price of the ticket is not the same, I need to pay an extra R600+. I told the lady that I don't have the money in my card but will load my credit card same day in order to pay the difference.</p> <p>The lady I spoke with said I must call and pay 4 hours before the flight. She never explained to me which flight she was referring to and in my understanding the call that I was supposed to make 4 hrs before was for the 1st not the flight I had cancelled.</p> <p>On the 30th at 11h04 I called flysafair call centre as advised only to be told that I have forfeited my ticket because I did not board the plane on the 30th.</p> <p>I told the lady that I requested the flight to be cancelled hence I was not on that flight but she told me that I requested a qoute of which I never requested quote because I thought I won't pay because of the option I chose when I bought a ticket. </p> <p>Neverthelss I had to re-book and pay another ticket for R1800+ again and was blundly told that I have forfeited my return ticket, How can I do that after I had phoned early on the 30th to cancel the flight.</p> <p>I feel the way this was handled is very bad and unfair , I was not supposed to buy a new ticket when I do have a ticket with me .</p> <p>The 2nd complaint is that on the 1st Sharon, the lady who was assisting me, who told me to re-book had a problem with getting my ticket paid with my credit card; she told me to go to Lanseria airport to pay there because on her side she can't.</p> <p>I was so shocked and frustrated ,Lanseria is too far from where I was, how can I drive to the airport to buy a ticket then come back and later go back to get my flight. To make matters worse she said she will refer the problem to the supervisor then call me, which she never did, she called today 09h58 and I am already in CapeTown.</p> <p>I had to call travelstart to make a booking in order for me to be back home.</p> <p>I need somebody to give me feedback on this as i am not happy at all.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
