I've was having a membership with virgin active which I was told the contract will end in December 2023 and I will then be on a month to month basis membership. During the contract period I could visit any club in Durban except the Moses Mabhida stadium. I then noticed that when I visit Kings park virgin active I'll be told that I can't go in because my club is Cornubia. When I enquired and told them that my membership used to take me anywhere without any hassle, I was then seen as a lier. In February 26 2024 I then requested to freeze my membership as I was going away with work and would not be able too use any other club because of the new developments on my membership, I was told I would have to pay R201.45 monthly while the account is frozen and I won't be allowed any access until I unfreeze it. This conversation was by email and I then responded that I want them to close the account and cancel the membership completely. 6 months later I keep getting messages that say "oops seems like you missed your payment, we tried to debit your account" when I call their accounts dept I was told the membership was canceled and when I ask what is the debit attempt for I was rudely told to call the person I was engaging with via email when I requested for the cancelation.
Such excellent and efficient service from Johan, I received my order in record time. I like how he is in constant communication whilst preparing the order. 🙌🏾
I just wanna thank you, HELLOPETER! I finally got my issue resolved promptly, and webuycars refunded me in full. If it wasn't for you this would probably have dragged on for longer as there were no updates coming forth until I engaged you. Ta!
On 2023-02-07 I traded my 2015 vw polo vivo for a 2012 audi a3 at WE BUY CARS RIVERHORSE BRANCH. I had test driven the audi a3 three weeks before on the 2km distance route that they take you on. Everything seemed fine then. The Dekra report had listed three things as issues that need attention;bonnet shock, control arm bushing and an engine noise. I drove the car for only one day and on the second day which was the 9th of February it started having a jerky movement when shifting gears. I was lucky as it stalled after I had reversed out of my driveway, I parked on the side to close my gate and when I wanted to drive off it just didn't go in gear. I had to push it back into the yard. Called the sales guy who told me to make a complaint via their website. After making the complaint on Friday 10th February, I was contacted on Monday by a cherise du toit who said will organize towing. I waited and waited and only on the 17th February they towed the vehicle. When I contact cherise via email for updates she directs me to a cheyl chetty who I feel has no customer service ethics. She's not polite. There's no direct contact to communicate with her except email, she says I must call the call center where I have to stay on the line for more than 20 minutes listening to their dialing tone. I was told the megatronics in the gearbox is faulty. It has been 30+days with no way forward. I am very inconvenienced by this and feel taken for ride now. I was in a process of wedding planning and with no mobility those plans are falling short. Is this how WEBUYCARS.CO.ZA do their business. I want my money back and let me look somewhere else for a car. R101850-00 maybe small change to you but to me it is a lot.
I'd like to know the legality on the matter of the bank (Absa Vehicle Finance) taking vehicle insurance on my behalf without noticing me, I was in the process of shopping around around for a more financially suitable cover to take. I was contacted about 6 months after the insurance was taken out on my behalf and told that my account is in areas because I was paying my monthly installment without the insurance money of which no one had had the courtesy of informing me about when it was taken out initially. I'm told there's a clause on the contract will allows the bank to take out insurance on... Had they called me to inform me the moment they decided to insure me like they're calling me now, this would' ve been avoided. I'm threatened with repossession now which makes me think this was their initial plan.....have me in arear so they can reposses the vehicle.
I'd like to extend my gratitude to the management of Windermere shopping center, last week friday 2019-10-25 my brother bought soccer tickets online which had to be collected from Postnet at Windermere. I collected the tickets from postnet and "slid" them into my jeans back pocket not realising that I missed the pocket opening and they fell down, I only realized when I got home that I lost the tickets which felt like the end of the world as they were already sold out by then. A day after, my brother recieved a call from the center manager informing him that they found a pair of soccer tickets and the reference number connected them to him, he confirmed that the lost were lost. We got our tickets. Thank you to all involved from the center. Much appreciated.
