I have previously written about this store, it seems to be managed by people who have no management skills. I have personally complained to the management of the store about their poor service but it seems that it goes in one era and out the other. There are six express tills but most of the time only three are manned, the long queues wanted at the express check outs are unacceptable. The question I now pose to the regional management of Checkers is why do you have useless management at this store. There is no one who really keeps and eye on the efficient staffing of the tills. Recently I encountered a male person at the express check out where there were only 3 tills operating, two for cash customers and the other reserved for card paying customers. When querying with this individual why the other till were not manned, he mentioned something about a staff shortage. This is not the first time and I doubt very much whether it will be the last time that the management of this outlet does not keep its finger on the pulse so to speak. If one compares the running of this store to that at Virginia Circle its like chalk and cheese. The Windermere store is a disgrace!

Wow service at Windermere Centre in Durban. I shopped at Manoli's and left my packet on the trolley when leaving. I was gobsmacked when I went there 7 days later and Centre Management had kept my parcel safe and returned it to me!! From the car guard who took my packet to security, who then took it to Manoli's and then to Centre Management for safe keeping, I want to send a heartfelt thank you. And the cashier at Manoli's who put 2 and 2 together and realised that it was my package. That was absolutely awesome... that's the kind of behavior that renews one's faith in humanity. A very well done to all involved. Thank you!!

Wow service at Windermere Centre in Durban. I shopped at Manoli's and left my packet on the trolley when leaving. It’s been a hectic couple of days with looting in South African ,will like to say big ups to checkers Windermere,they did not discriminate against anyone whether you lived around there or not whatever the age or colour of your skin .no inflation of prices whatsoever.May God continue to protect your business ❤️?

What an ignorant person i had to deal with on 19/06/2021 by the "head of legal" is what he called himself I had an enquiry about about the vaccines being charged to my medical aid. I called and a lady explained to me as to why it was charged to my medical aid. Unfortunately the call disconnected but i was happy with her response and understood. She was calm and informative when she was explaining the reasonings. A few minutes later, i received a call from someone else. His/her tone was harsh and sounded as if he/she was shouting me for making the enquiry. Nevertheless, i listened to what he/she had to say. But whenever i wanted to say something i was cut off short. He/she never gave me their name and kept saying they are an attorney blah blah blah. He/she also said they listened to my call before calling me as if to threathen me. I hope all the call are recorded because im mortified of the service. He/she cut my call and 3 times after each time i tried calling to speak to a store manager they refused to me to speak to a store manager and said i was being abusive and this is all "too much". So i asked to speak to someone that could handle my query. They refused to give details and their name hence i am using he/she. There was no need for this so called attorney to call me and worsen the situation when the 1st lady i spoke to already explained everything to me. I am a 34 yr old woman, an adult and i understood the 1st lady. I would like this so called "head of legal" at pharmacare windermere in durban to be dealt with. His attittude and behavior was pathetic and i dont understand how he became an attorney of justoce when he cant handle a smal consumer query

I'd like to extend my gratitude to the management of Windermere shopping center, last week friday 2019-10-25 my brother bought soccer tickets online which had to be collected from Postnet at Windermere. I collected the tickets from postnet and "slid" them into my jeans back pocket not realising that I missed the pocket opening and they fell down, I only realized when I got home that I lost the tickets which felt like the end of the world as they were already sold out by then. A day after, my brother recieved a call from the center manager informing him that they found a pair of soccer tickets and the reference number connected them to him, he confirmed that the lost were lost. We got our tickets. Thank you to all involved from the center. Much appreciated.

I'd like to extend my gratitude to the management of Windermere shopping center, last week friday 2019-10-25 my brother bought soccer tickets online which had to be collected from Postnet at Windermere. I collected the tickets from postnet and "slid" them into my jeans back pocket not realising that I missed the pocket opening and they fell down, I only realized when I got home that I lost the tickets which felt like the end of the world as they were already sold out by then. Recently had a extremely rude interaction with female Centre manager. Not the first time as she is seriously impatient and seens to have a generally bad attitude Completely out of her depth and should not be facing customers . just bad advert for a otherwise enjoyable shopping centre

I went outside the building to have a smoke, no where did it state it is a non smoking zone As I was putting my smoke out, I was about to pick it up and discard it into the rubbish bin, a woman by the name of Josslyn approached me in a very rude manner and told me I'm littering in a very unprofessional manner. I was about to pick it up, so told her I'm going though it away. She never even gave me a chance to talk and said she is setting an example to my child. She proceeded to confront my child, and I stood in front of her and kindly requests she not come near my child. She replied saying she is the store manager/ supervisor so she can. I feel my rights are violated. If I saw a sign I would gladly not have smoked. It's common sense. She threatened me tellimg me I can't complain cause I'm on camera. Again violating my right to complain. I am a regular shopper at Windermere but I think I'm so humiliated in front of all the people I will never return. She caused a racket and I would like to talk to higher management, since she claims she is the boss.
