I submitted a dispute on the 20th and this ******* bank has still not processed my money back into my account
Fnb is a pathetic bank to bank with. I would suggest taking services up by banks who are responsive to your queries because up until now I have gotten no support or feedback
After they conducted ******* enquiries on my profile I reached out to them and was first told that they would escalate to have them removed, now they have turned around and refused. Stay away from fnb

I am beyond disgusted with how FNB Business has handled my applications and subsequent complaint. I submitted only three applications, yet FNB conducted over seven credit enquiries on my credit profile. That is completely excessive, irresponsible, and has directly harmed my credit score. When I raised this issue, instead of providing a real explanation or taking accountability, I received a generic copy-paste response about “credit scoring being essential.” No one addressed why multiple enquiries were done unnecessarily, or why so many were required for just three applications. To make matters worse, after damaging my credit record, FNB refused to properly assist or reassess anything, leaving me with the consequences of their actions while they hide behind vague corporate excuses. So let me get this straight: FNB can repeatedly pull my credit, negatively impact my profile, refuse to provide a clear justification, and then offer nothing but scripted apologies? This is unacceptable and *********. I have now escalated this matter to the Ombudsman because FNB has shown zero transparency, zero accountability, and complete disregard for the impact their actions have on consumers. I strongly caution anyone dealing with FNB — you may walk away with a damaged credit profile and no meaningful support.

This has had a direct negative impact on my credit record, despite the fact that I did not expect repeated checks to be performed. What is most concerning is the lack of transparency and accountability from the bank. Attempts to get clarity have been met with delays, vague responses, and no meaningful support. Credit enquiries affect a person’s ability to access financing, and banks should treat this with far more care and responsibility. Consumers should not be left feeling penalised simply for making an enquiry or applying through the proper channels. I am now forced to escalate this matter formally because I believe the handling of my credit profile has been unfair and potentially non-compliant. I would like FNB to urgently provide: • A clear explanation for the number of enquiries recorded • Steps to correct any unnecessary impact on my credit profile • Proper customer support instead of dismissal This has been an exhausting and stressful experience, and I expected far better from a major institution like FNB.
This is the worst bank to exist in South Africa. I recommend everyone to stay away from them! I sent my ITA34 doc a day ago already and im constantly told by tbe agents on that that they did not receive it. The most lazy pathetic workers to exist.
