I drive a FAW Sirius S80 1.5 and on Monday 15 May 2017 my starter broke and I contacted Roadside assistance who had my car towed to Tygerberg Multifrancise in Stikland. I received a call from the service advisor who asked me what was the problem with the car on which I told them about the starter and was told they would have it checked out and let me know when my car would be fixed. I had to call them on Tuesday 16 May 2017 on which I was told that it would take 4 days working for the part to arrive then they will fit it and let me know when I can fetch my car. I made several calls during the week on which I was told by the service advisor that the part havent arrive yet. On Wednesday 24 May 2017 I called again only to be told by the receptionist that my service advisor and her manager was in training. I asked her to get an update on my car when I was told for the first time that they are waiting on FAW for authorisation to do the work on my car. On Thursday I contacted The service advisor again and only then she told me about them waiting on the warentee for authorisation. I ask her to give me the number for FAW so I can find out what the hold up was with the authoritation. I called the Office and the lady took my details and said they will look into it. Two hours later I got a call from the service advisor at TMF that my claim was approved and they can fix my car. The car was after almost three weeks in the workshop fixed on Wednesday 31/05/2017 and thought my troubles was over. On Thursday morning 01 June 2017 my car woulnt start and I needed to jumpstart my car. I contacted TMF and they said I must bring the car and they will check what the problem are. I was told that my battery had a dead cell and I have to buy a new battery after driving my car for only 13 months. The frustrations I experience with this car are unexceptable and it isnt even all because my brkes also have issues. Whe I brake my steering shake and its not safe to drive. I'm not sure if I want to send my car there because it might be there for another 3 weeks. I'm working from from 14h00 in the afternoon till 22h30 and sometimes till 00h00 and find it difficult to get to and from work without my car.
