What a treat to take your vehicle there, owner very friendly and always willing to help. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else.
<p>Customer service ha they do not know what that means. Took our golf in January to them with a fault on the dsg gearbox. They offered to have it repaired. 5 months later we get told that it was an irreversible process and that our box is now a paperweight. Got hold of the Regional manager for VW who said the branch was at fault and they must fix it. And that he would contact us, needless to say we had to chase after him yet no response. In the interim we got hold of the MD who blatantly does not want to get involved with the public as his response was "one of my team will be in contact" again we had to chase as his TEAM never got hold of us. Finally we get a response " we have looked at everything and there is nothing we can do" so basically branches can lie and deceive the public and VW SA is fine with it. I'm disgusted that a brand as big as them feel nothing for the customer.</p> <p>So if your warranty runs out and your dsg box starts bombing your looking at +/- R85k for a new box.</p> <p>Never again will we buy VW and if I can stop more of you out there, support the cause and go elsewhere. </p>
