You like travel? Dont be fooled into signing up with ACI. They sell non redeemable shares and there is no option of backing out once the sale is made. They charge exhorbitant management fees that increase expenentialy by the year. Their sole purpose is to ensure that you remain indebted to them even if they offer you no service . I made the mistake of joining ACI in 2010 and barely 5 days later I was already regretting the decision, and I have regretted the decision ever since. Everything that they told me was a lie and I wish the public could be protected from such bogus companies in South Africa!

I am a permanently employed permanent resident living in South Africa. I needed to buy some camping equipment in Eastgate Shopping Mall. The store manager asked me to apply for a Cape Union Mart card, which I could use to pay for the goods. After a week the company had not responded and I went into the store to enquire. I was shocked to be told that the company only sells its cards to South African citizens only! I was told I do not qualify because I am non South African. White colleagues that I go on trips with, recommended the store to me. Though they are non South African, they have store cards - so I was really enraged by this experience. I am a permanent resident with a stable job. I even have a car financed by the Banks and a house. I distaste the discriminatory nature of this retail, after all the retail business can only grow if they dispense their services without discrimination. I have concluded that Cape Union see nationality coloured South African Rands! They can cut off my foot if they see me inside their shop again!
