Active since Jul 2017
I have been a client of Tax Relax for a number of years, however is 2017 Tax Relax have been billing me for services not rendered. I pay a monthly fee of R496, however I had to submit my own tax this year on SARS e-filing (after the national deadline because the Tax Relax crew offered zero assistance). I have been emailing one of their tax assistants (Roxanne Davids) who was completely unable to help, or give direction. Even after explaining to her via email and telephone that what TR is doing is illegal: she offered no apology for delaying my tax submissions or for the inconvenience. I submitted - in writing - my request to terminate the contract (on 28 November 2017) since they were utterly useless at doing the one thing they are paid to do ONCE per year, Roxanne Davids told me that someone from the Customer Services Department would be contacting me. No one has contacted me. I also have written confirmation from the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners that Tax Relax had their membership revoked in 2016 (the membership was in the name of Lee Anne La Reservee). This means that they have been operating illegally since 2016 and have been taking money from clients unlawfully as an unregistered Tax Practitioner. They are also fully aware of the Hello Peter posts (despite not registering their business on HP) because I sent them screenshots of all the complaints (no, I don't have a lot of spare time. yes, I made the time to do it). I suggest you learn to use e-filing and save yourself the heart ache and time. Do not give Tax Relax your business.
I have been using Tax Relax for several years now. I always make sure I submit my tax related information on time in order to meet the deadline. This year, Tax Relax has slacked off to a point where they haven't processed my returned, it's well past the National deadline and they haven't even bothered to reassure me of progress. I dealt with a tax assistant named Roxanne, who has shown at every phone call (that I have initiated) that she is unhelpful and grossly inadequate at client care. I pay monthly for a service that I have yet to receive, and between Roxanne and her associate, Lee-Anne - it appears as though they are running a three person operation with a massive backlog of tax returns. They claim that they have lost a staff member, however I fail to see how that justifies my paying penalties because they failed to make a contingency plan and do the one thing I pay them to do once per annum. I've never failed to pay my service fees, EVER! Yet service has failed this year. At this stage, I still have no proof that my tax returns have been resolved and no contact from Tax Relax as to the progress. I want my efiling details and to terminate my contract with Tax Relax.

I like the Superga brand and have a few pairs of shoes that I purchased in a store. Since I know my shoe size in the brand, I thought it would be relatively safe to purchase a pair of shoes from their online store. I found a pair in a range that I thought had been discontinued, and they were on sale. I thought it was a bargain, but in hind sight I realise I was fooled. I purchased the shoes on line and took delivery of them on 9 June 2017. Unfortunately they were way too big (even though I had ordered my usual size). I was charged a further R135 to retun them, which I paid. It took two weeks for collection to take place. Now I am still waiting fo my new pair to be delivered. today is the 20 July. In between all of this I have ordered other items online from brands such as USN, which was fantastic compared to Superga. I've been emailing a customer care person from Superga to sort this out. 43 emails later and still nothing. I've paid for shoes that I dont have and for the collection of the pair that didnt fit. ***?
