I have recently moved into the estate and I must say that I am blown away by how wonderful these last few months on the Sitari Estate has been.The estate has wide open spaces and it really feels like you are a part of nature when living here. They claim that they are one of the most secure estates and I can really say that I havent felt safer.The move in process from the sales department was seemless and the agent that assisted me was so helpful (sorry I forgot her name). Overall a very well managed estate.
I joined the medical aid recently after switching from another medical aid. I recieved a membership certificate stating that there are no exclusions or waiting period and cover starts immediately. Unfortunately a few days ago my son fell ill and we took him to the Network hospital as per hospital list. It was confirmed that he had menengitis but after the first day I'm hospital we were told they are not covering the admission. The excuse. They first need the doctor to sign a medical assessment to confirm that this is not a existing condition...understandable. Well this apparently happens when you are on the medical aid for less than 12 months and approval takes 5 to 8 working days. So here we are in a private hospital with a membership certificate confirming that its active but no cover. The doctor filled in the forms requested over 3 times. They stated that they needed to call me to go over some things in order to request approval. Well here's the fun part...the agent calls you and drops the line. This happened over 7 times. They then request you to phone them back but never answer the phone and then they casually send you a letter stating that your authorization was declined due to doctor not sending forms( but we have proof) and they can't get hold of you. Who will get a hold of someone when the aim is to sabotage the whole claims process? Especially after having over 5 numbers on the system? My son urgently needed tests to be done and I explained it over and over again. His doctor went out of her way to request approval but it fell on deaf ears. We are in a public hospital now...with medically aid because the "systems" they have innolace to prevent claims. It quite sad and pathetic. It won't end here. The next step is social media and then the ombudsman. Everyone should know how about the tactics these people use to get out of claiming for admissions.

Thinking that I am covered I rushed to the emergency room with my one year old son who was ill. He was diagnosed with menengitis...but this had to happen after we were transferred to a public hospital because discovery did not disclose that they need to do a verification with the Doctor that its a pre existing condition or not and that they do not cover your stay unless confirmed which is all and we'll...except this approval takes 5 to 8 working days! And in the mean time you need to cover the hospital bill. My son's doctor went out of her way to fill in the form quite a few times and you are apparently supposed to wait for a call to answer some questions. The tactic around this is they will phone you a few times a day and as soon as you answer drop the call. Eventually claim for admission gets declined stating that they can't get hold of you. Tactics of note. I received a message from Kwena Mabule asking me to phone back but with each attempt 8 to be exact the phone just rings. We are now in a public hospital with my son because of Discovery and their tactics not to cover his hospital stay...no exclusions or waiting periods? What happened to that? I will make everyone aware of these tactics that are being used! Next stop, social media and the ombudsman. Declined because they cannot "reach" me and my doctor send the personal assessment form? I have all the evidence and dropped calls. After doing it atleast 3 times as it was an emergency? Pathetic
I bought two items from Identity about two weeks ago. When I eventually tried on the one item I realized it was a very bad fit. I asked someone to EXCHANGE (not refund) the item yesterday, without the slip with tags still attached and unworn, I mean in this day and age who inconveniences their customers by telling them they do not exchange without a slip? With ALL this technology redily available to look up a purchase on your system, who still refuses to help "their" customers ? Well IDENTITY AND TRUWORTHS does.I assume that their expectation is that I throw the R220 item away, which in my opinion is not client centric as every OTHER store makes provision for when their customers has no till till slip. Ill rather start spending my money where I am able to return an item without having to purchase a safe for all my Identity till slips... Less hassles and more of a pleasure
I have never seen such blatant rudeness and utter disrespect for the person who frankly chose to spend their hard earned money in your store on many occasions ,bearing in mind that there are a lot of OTHER stores offering the same product and most probably including better service in the deal. I bought(meaning PAID and had PROOF of payment) an item from your store and after proceeding to the nearest exit, in my case the ''lets assume you stole a R80 pair of lashes and unlawfully infringed on your right to a good name and reputation" door. The security tag on the item made a noise as I went through the doors. Immediately me and my colleague was called back by a female security . Upon re-entering the store she demanded us to take out what we have, probably meant we should show her what we bought. Lets give HER the benefit of the doubt I took out the R80 lashes and the slip and she then proceeded to open and scratch in my bag WITHOUT my permission by the front door in front of EVERYONE. She took the item went to the cashier and de activated it. She then gave it back to me. NO APOLOGY.NO EXPLINATION. NOTHING. So there I was with my lashes (that cost less than my MONTHLY bank fees)and an infringement on my Constitutional right to privacy (Bill of rights,14).DISSAPOINTED
I ordered a dress from Zando on Friday it came just in time for the wedding that i will be attending this Saturday. Dress came and it had the biggest hole in it at the back. I do not know if i should be relieved that i noticed the hole before embarrassing myself at the wedding or be dissapointed in the lack of service i received and the problem that was created for me by this stores incompetence and not checking every item for quality defects before sending it to customers "Customer service" advised me that they can refund me within 7days... So i suppose i should prob not go to the wedding while they are doing the refund. I do not know.
I took out a new contract with Vodacom recently and noticed that calls coming in is showing as unknown. I phoned "customer service" thinking it could be a setting that is wrong on the phone that I am paying R559.00 a month for on contract, to my surprise I was told I needed to pay an extra R10 a month just to be able see who is phoning me. R559.00a month is ALREADY extra on my part. This is the first time I am experiencing this with any network. Is this even legal? Besides the fact that this was never brought to my attention when signing up for this contract. What a bad attempt in ripping people off
