I applied for a 1 year nursing course at Kingsway College. My application was successful and I was told to pay an amount of R6,000 before 19 June 2017. I paid the full amount on 9 May 2017. I was told classes would start on 19 June 2017. I arrived for class on that date but was told after orientation day was done that I should wait on a call from the college. The reason I had to wait on a call was because the lectures was out in the field. I've waited weeks on the call college to call and when they never called, I called them. I was told they don't have any feedback, they will let me know. I saw an adverti*****t on Gumtree regarding the course, where I saw the amount posted on the ad was way less than what I paid. When I enquired about it, I was told it's an old post.

We represent Lee Ann Petersen (our "Client").
We refer to the conversation with Muriel Cloete on 26 July 2017 and further follow-up phone calls explaining that:

1. Our Client applied for a one-year nursing course at Kings Way College (the "College");
2. Her application was successful;
3. She paid a deposit and registration fee of R6,000 on 9 May 2017;
4. She was told that classes would start on 19 June 2017;
5. She arrived for classes on that date, but was told that classes would not start and that she should wait for a call from the College;

Subsequently, she has called the College several times and was repeatedly advised that she should wait for a call from the College.
We note from your website that the section headed "Nursing Courses" offers only six three-month engineering courses.
Our Client would like to obtain a nursing qualification, but is doubtful that the College can offer it and subsequently demanded her money back. To date no communication or payment has been forthcoming.
