Intercare North Riding : Dr Lesedi Motsatsi Do I really have to give a star?? Charging us a second consultation after being poorly advised by the so called GP??? I called their accounts department yesterday to make it very clear that she will not be paying a second consultation fee. The reasoning behind this: - On our first visitation to the Dr, we paid a consultation of R500.00 ; the Drs poor advise was that Melanie has an infection in her belly button. He then prescribed a double dose of antibiotics, which the patient has to pay for. - She then returned for a follow up on the Monday as requested by the GP. She also asked the GP if it could not perhaps be a hernia where he clearly stated that no, it is not a hernia. - The pain did not ease and she therefor went back for a third visit. Prior to the visit, the receptionist confirmed that there again will not be any charges. She was however charged another consultation after not even seeing the Dr for 5 minutes. After she left his rooms, he gave her a call suggesting an ultrasound, querying a completely different problem. She then went for the ultrasound only to find that she does have an umbilical hernia- they had to admit her and immediately do an operation as this was now life threatening. Due to the Drs poor advise and knowledge Melanie now has incurred further medical costs as he could’ve advised her to go for the Ultrasound right from the first visit. Thus again, there will be no payment for a second consultation. What a shame to our health system.

Rent A Maid- Bedfordview- what a JOKE! Do I really have to give a star? I don’t think so. Not even half a star. Firstly, it started off where the maids would change with every cleaning, although I had to pay all moneys well in advance. Secondly, the maids had broken numerous of my ornaments around the house- after mentioning this to the manager, I was told that there’s nothing they can do about this. The maids had also stolen some of my sheets, after mentioning this I was told by the representative of the company that the service can no longer be rendered, since I’m always “complaining”. The maids have also burnt more than one of my pillow cases, which I would find crumpled into a ball in the corner of the cupboard. I was appalled at such behavior, and have a good mind to take my business elsewhere as suggested. I hope you would look into the matter, and make sure such an incident is not repeated. This service will tarnish your company- if it hasn’t already.
<p>I purchased a wardrobe from the Ranburg Branch online (popularstores.co.za), making the EFT payment on that very same day, Monday the 7th of August. It was an immediate payment. </p> <p> </p> <p>The lady who helped me goes by the name of Lorraine. Lorraine was very helpful in getting the payment into their account but the service after the payment was done, turned into a horrible, postponing situation.</p> <p>Keeping in mind that on the website of Popular Furniture Stores, it says, "We offer same day delivery". Lorraine discussed the delivery date with me, stating that delivery will take place on Wednesday, the 9th of August- it so didn't happen as Lorraine was "not aware" of her working hours- PATHETIC! </p> <p>The following day I contacted the Randburg Branch- who were then full of stories, telling me that they don't even have this very wardrobe (that I was promised delivery on) in store. It was also impossible for me to from there on get in contact with Lorraine as she is "never in store" when I'm phoning. </p> <p>I then finally spoke to a gentleman, by the name of Tebogo, who I explained my situation to and how I have been battling with this wardrobe and getting it delivered. Tebogo then told me that he will discuss this issue with the driver and get me a 50% discount/ free delivery. </p> <p> </p> <p>Today, is Saturday the 12th of August and this morning I had to ENQUIRE AGAIN on WHEN delivery will take place. I had to remind this store, that (and I quote) ''strive for service excellence'', this very store that "seek affective ways to solve problems and serve their customers". It is clear to me that the staff of this store don't have any what so ever, customer s****s. Maybe, the staff should take a read on their stores Vision and Mission - as this is not what they are accomplishing.</p> <p>The Wardrobe finally got delivered at 12am on the 12th of August- FULL OF SCRATCHES. The Wardrobe has places where the vinyl is chipped away.</p> <p>After the delivery took place, I was asked to pay the full delivery amount- no excuses, no exceptions. More confussion took place and it was a back and forth phoning between the driver and this very arrogant assistant, Tebogo, at Popular Furniture Stores, Randburg.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will not encourage anyone to ever puchase anything at this store, for the service is nauseating.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
