My husband and I went to Hennies on Sunday, and to his big surprise they had 1kg Eisbein on special, which is excactly what he wanted. When we ordered, the waiter told us that they were out of stock on 1kg Eisbein, and only had 500g Eisbeins left. Not a problem for us, as two 500g would make 1kg right? WRONG! They could not give us two 500g Eisbeins as it was not part of the special. My brain still breaks when I try to work out their reasoning.
We took our 15 year old daughter on a trip on the Gautrain to Sandton and had lunch at Pappas. The staff were great and very efficient. The food was mouth watering and we had to take some home as left overs. The servings are really more than enough. The atmosphere was also wonderful and we enjoyed the whole afternoon.
Travel Beach Inn was the only establishment in Ventura who knew my contact details. The day before I was supposed to book in, I received a message from Ventura with a photo of a decomposing body, demanding money before I end up like that. I know perfectly well it was a ****, but where did they get my contact details, and how am I suppose to go and sleep in an establishment who sent my details to ****mers? Maybe that is how they make their money?
We travelled to USA while using Booking.com, as we were certain they had references for the places they advised us to stay in. However one of the places we booked, Travellers Beach Inn, in Ventura, contacted us by sending a photo of a decomposing corpse and demanding money to not end up dead as well. This was brought under the attention of Booking.com, as we could obviously not stay at an establishment that sent us messages like that. Booking.com just laughed it of and said it was a **** and we were safe to stay there. I do not think anyone from Booking.com would stay in a strange country in a place after they have received a message from the only place who had their contact details threaten them. Yet that is exactly what they expected us to do. I find it deplorable that they even have such a place under their recommendations and will not make use of their services again.
Tshegofatso Agnes Ngoako was very friendly and helped me fast and with expert knowledge. I would never try and do it myself again. She saved me money with her help and made the experience seamless.
Spur served a rare lazy aged steak very well done. They burned the snails in garlic butter, the gave me mayonaise instead of blue cheese sauce. The prawns were so old they crumbed when the shells were opened. The only good thing about them was the waiter who stayed calm.
Madikwetsi Mokotedi knows that I have pension fund money from Shell in Alexander Forbes, under my ID. She refuses to pay the money from my Shell pension fund into my existing pension fund under my same ID number because my surname changed. Surely it does not matter what your surname is, your ID number stays the same your whole life. If they don't take action soon, I will ask Allan Gray to move my pension fund to another financial institution.
Very professional and friendly service
Clicks should not have an online service. It is pathetic. I only ordered online because I thought it would make it easier for my Christmas shopping to skip the que but never imagined it would take them 3 days to pack 4 boxrs of chocolate. I order 10 x cooked meals today and receive them tomorrow at my door. I order anything from Takealot and the next day it is at my door. But it takes Clicks 3 days to pack 4 boxes of chocolate. Don't ever use the service.
