I have had 3 months of trouble with my cell c data contract. I canceled my 10gb day & 10gb night plan that I had, on 11 Dec 2020 paying R750.00 to cancel it. I opened a new plan 50gb day & 50gb night (a promotion) which I have not used one day up to date. I have not had any signal on my router since Dec, I have phoned customer care & technical department numerous times holding for 30 min + every time I call. For them to inform me I had to activate my roaming on my device. After that still no luck in ha ing signal. I have gone back to the shop (mall of the south) for assistance there I was told that I had to do a Sim swop (another R115). Which resulted in the same error. After that I went back to the shop with the router just to find out that it was the wrong router and I had to get a new router. I was informed by one of the assistants that she had to cancel the whole contract to be able to apply for the new contract which includes the router. This has been 2 weeks. I am very disappointed as I have to buy data weekly which is redicolous. I Ja e not been helped and I am still being charged monthly. This is bad service & I WILL NOT RECOMMEND Cell C to anybody.
One week ago I went to Henberg Vaalpark to get a HD PVR power supply. The woman told me they don't exchange them, but it is R200.00 for a new one. I decided to go and look if I cant get it cheaper somewhere else. Pick n Pay was R400.00 and Diamond Corner was also R200.00 so I decided to go back to Henberg, as they are credible dealers for Multichoice. When I arrived there yesterday to buy a R200.00 power supply, the woman informed me (with an attitude that there's something wrong with me, I did not hear her right) that they are R260.00 each, and she never said they were R200.00. After a huge argument I left the store and phoned Multichoice to find out what the going rate is for a HD PVR power supply. Guess what Multichoice said, and their calls are recorded, They are R150.00 each. So why would Henberg charge almost double the amount??????? Henberg will NEVER see me again, and neither will I EVER refer someone to them EVER again.
