After numerous attempts of contacting Afrihost to rectify a charge for a free a Fibre setup fee, no one has contacted me by phone or email to try resolve issue. I've tried calling support number, where you can only call Johannesburg to speak to someone. Also the Online support chat was tried and they said that offer wasn't processed correctly, but I received email on the day the free offer was extended until saying that I was signed up. According to Afrihost app it said I would be billed, after which I tried contacting them with no luck. I then cancelled service and amount of R3000 was deducted. To date no one has called after send another email to Gian (CEO). This is proving to be an extremely frustrating and inefficient service. Also my ADSL is still active with them which one would think would should be cancelled with the switch to Fibre. But this is not the case and they are happy to charge for service which is of no use any longer. My cancellation for this is still pending until end October. A poor service of note !
