Boksel double debit my account - R481-53. I have cancelled my service with them two months ago already, which Arnu at boksel has confirmed via email. At that time, boksel owed me R481-53. It has taken boksel more than 2 weeks to release my number so that my number could be ported to my new service provider!? I had to draw and send bank statements to boksel to prove that they indeed have no clue, and that they have debited another month's subscription from my account. This was not the first time that they have taken the same amount twice in one month?! Today another R726-11 has been taken from my account and an attempt was made to take another R380-00 from my wife's account as well?!? We have no connection with this horrible company any more yet they keep on taking money from our accounts!! We were cut off for no reason for weeks, promises was made week after week after week with absolutely NO ONE taking any responsibility and NO ONE giving feedback as promised time and time again, why our service was suspended. No credits were given for a two week suspension of service, for NO REASON, we were charged and money was taken from our accounts. Boksel owes us in excess of R1,300-00!! They have promised to refund us so many times, but not a single cent or explanation has appeared. I have spent hours and weeks on end with this disgraceful company on the phone - still I am out of pocket and money is taken from my account without ANY AUTHORISATION from me. I have now had to cancel my cards in an attempt to stop the senseless luting of my bank accounts!! What an odacity they have?? Once you believe their disgraceful lies, your bank accounts will be debited, your number will be suspended and your data will be switched off for no reason at any time. I had clients phoning my colleagues and office landline complaining that I do not answer my mobile phone?!? I go to the bathroom with my phone, not to miss a call!?!? Worst company EVER! Absolutely NO SERVICE, NO FEEDBACK AND THEY HELP THEMSELVES TO YOUR MONEY, REFUSING TO REFUND YOU. Stay away from BOKSEL!!
I have joined Discovery Health Smart Classic in May 2017 after searching online for a provider and plan. The representative that replied suggested Smart Classic as the only option, focused on "cheap" doctor visits, "free dental", overall "a very affordable" but "comprehensive " plan. After a dental issue I discovered the so called "dental cover" to be a scam - only one "check up" per year, nothing else included. I had to undergo a root canal treatment, and was left with a R3 200-00 bill, an embarrassing Acknowledgement of Debt signed in the entrance lobby in front of other visitors, and feeling cheated. Upon further research after this dental "cover" discovery, I was overwhelmed to find that Smart Classic is only supported at a few selected hospitals, and when I inquired online, found the official list on DH website to only have TWO hospitals in the whole of SA where I can receive treatment if needed, both hospitals in the Eastern Cape??!! I have a screen shot of this. I also found that should I elect another facility, I had to make a co-payment on admission of R8 200-00!!?? Numerous emails have been sent, I have made phone calls and I was promised THREE WEEKS AGO to be contacted within "48 hours" as an "investigation" was underway???!!! I have reference numbers, and the said emails as proof of timeline and confirmation that my health and medical care is NOT THE FOCUS OF DISCOVERY HEALTH. I am not impressed that I was purposely pushed into this decision to join Smart Classic, and I am now bullied with policies and corporation intimidation: you CANNOT change a plan during the year, you CANNOT use any facility, etc. The marketing angle and emphasis was put on "free dental, cheap GP visits, affordability and comprehensive cover", but never the exorbitant amount of R8 200-00 co-payment and just a few medical facilities to choose from. I understand business, and believe the 'design' of the Smart Classic Plan to be misleading, where consumers are lead to believe their needs are respected and catered for. I have made my side very clear telephonically and via email, now I am ignored and forgotten??!! Do I really want to trust a corporate monster like this with my family's health?? I am appalled!!
