I recently bought a property through Adrienne Hersch Properties. The agent was Lauren Wilmot. I received excellent service. Lauren is always willing to listen. She went out of her way to get me written feedback from the managing agents on a couple of outstanding issues that I was concerned about. She also stepped in when I had problems with the service of the transferring attorneys and kept an eye on the progress of the transaction. I can really recommend her and the estate agency with confidence.
Also known as help 247 pool repairs. I contracted 24/7 pool repairs to install a new pool pump, clean my pool and change the sand in the filter. On 19 September I had to pay the full amount of R8 330 for the work to b done. I was then told that although they did the installation, there is still a problem on the suction line between the weir and the pump. For this to be fixed I had to pay upfront R7000. They did the work 2 days later. However, the system still does not work. Since I have only had promises of a technician coming out to check the system from Deon. I have to phone every time and not once have they come out or got back to me themselves.It is now a week and half later and I still don't have a working pump and they have over R15000 of my money. They have now stopped taking all my calls. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE CRIMINALS!
We hired a car (ford fiesta) from Avis Port Elizabeth airport between 25 August and 1 September. We experienced no problems during the rental and returned the car at just over a 1/4 full of petrol on the 1 September. When the final invoice came, petrol for 45 litres were included. This is the actual petrol tank capacity of the car and therefore CANNOT be the true number of litres and therefore cost of petrol for the car. As I have had the same problem in 2016 after a rental with Avis, I queried this. In 2016, the invoice was corrected with the ( I hope) correct number of litres. This time after queries on 4 September and follow up on 19 September, I have had no feedback! 1) Do Avis regularly overcharge their clients on petrol? 2) Why is customer service so slow that in a month they have been unable to come back to me? 3) I have paid the full invoice - now give me back the money you took from me based on a false invoice!
