I started studying with Unisa in the beginning of 2020, everything was surprisingly on time and materials were received etc. I paid my first year in semester in full. When Covid-19 came around I had to cancel due to income loss, and I sent all documents requested for a refund in the beginning of March 2020, I received no communication, all call lines didn't work and when I did get through to the finance department they said they hadn't received it, I sent it to about 4 email addresses with no communication or feedback and it was impossible to get through to finance again. I followed up numerously, also with no answer. Then lockdown came around and refunds were closed. I am still unable to get through to Unisa. I don't see how Unisa can accept money but are unable to process refunds. I will be contacting a lawyer to assist. I was initially surprised at the speediness and assistance but when it comes to getting your money back, don't expect anything.
Initially, I had a good experience with Oxbridge, they are of course very quick to get you signed up, etc. I received my materials on time so I had no issues, and then when Covid-19 hit and lockdown started we lost income and I was no longer able to pay. I then advised and they placed the debit order on hold. I requested cancellation as I am unaware on when I would be able to pay again, they said cancellation is not allowed unless under special circumstances and the board would have to approve, which is ridiculous in and of itself because you should have a choice in your own education and what you want to do with it. No other institutions don't allow cancellations. After sending all the documents, bank statements, etc I received no confirmation on the decision on the cancellation. I only receive emails and messages stating I am behind on payments. I was more than happy to look at returning to Oxbridge once I am able to afford it again however with all this I highly doubt I will. I have requested assistance numerous times and cancellation request has been in since July with no feedback. Highly disappointed... From amazing service to absolute silence. At this point, I wouldn't recommend
I won a voucher back before they opened, I signed up at the same time and cancelled my membership before it even opened, I was informed it had been cancelled. They started deducting money from my account when they opened, I tried to contact to resolve the issue and was told time and again a manager would call. Finally they responded to inform me that my membership was cancelled, I was never refunded but the deductions stopped, after a year they have started deducting again, what utter bull****! Once again in a battle for communication!
