Trail Tech Cycles Rocks
Well done to Candice van Zyl and the team at Trail Tech Cycles, for excellent customer service. Ordered a pair of Leatt 2.0 flat pedal shoes online. Candice kept me in the loop on when stock arrived and arranged for delivery. When the size was a bit on the tight side (as it happens with online shopping), she immediately arranged a courier to pick-up and replaced with the correct size, no questions asked.

Bad communication and follow through on cell phone contract application
I went the Centurion iStore on 30 September (Saturday) to enquire on contracts where I could get an iPhone SE 32gig. A sales consultant, Antuan Ferreira assisted me to select the correct package and informed of all the required documents (all good so far). I came back on Sunday morning with the documents, but with an out of date pay slip. After a brief discussion with the manager, I agreed to go back and source my latest pay slip. This I did when I got home from the mall, and sent a mail to Antuan with the latest pay slip copy, requesting him to process the transaction ASAP as my current phone (used for work) is very unreliable. I received no call from iStore staff on Sunday? On the Monday, I went back to the iStore and Antuan picked up the transaction where it was left of the previous day and completed the paperwork. He tried to load the contract with no avail. He escalated the issue to cellphone specialist in Vodacom (presumably associated with the iStore). The following day there were again, no calls to update me on progress and I had to go to the iStore again to enquire on progress. No resolution and no escalation from iStore side in the day that had passed. Antuan again tried to submit the transaction with no success. My main concern in this whole experience is around the urgency by which customer requests are handled by iStore staff and the resolution of issues escalated and resolved. Also during the whole process, not once did anybody from the iStore contact me to give an update or provide alternatives. I'm a big apple fan, but the level of service is really unacceptable and hence I cancelled my request for the contract.
