My mother has been trying for over a year now to get the money out of her husband's Absa account after she did declare that he passed away that time. She had to go in two times to declare it and still it was not done by same person at Absa branch and only recently they properly declared husband as deceased. Absa has already taken over R3000 in bank costs over the year and the Absa branch refuses that my mother talks to any Manager to assist her. Now Absa wants my mother to pay around R500 to be able to withdraw the money that is still left after Absa been taking bank costs for all those months. How can we get some assistance with getting all the funds including the R3000 that Absa employee messed up declaring person as deceased and had to stop the bank costs from occurring back then?
On 30 June 2021 I was called about beameprotect and agreed to price of R44,85 and was receiving new tracking device due to being a valued customer. I was never told once that I will have to pay for the new device also. On 2 July 2021 a debit order of R120 was taken off and also noticed that a debit order (Tracker) money on 30 June 2021. I then send email to beame to find out what is going on and also asked if this is then a different tracking company as I thought it was was from same tracking company I am using but different department due to the fact that they had all my details already and that the new tracking device is part of current package and that beame is addon. Got a reply on 5 July which stated that beame is additional services and not part of the unit subscription and never got a answer if this is now a different company as I asked in the email and also stated I am not going to pay two different companies for tracking devices. I thought then OK so now I will pay a bit less to have tracking device installed. To my surprise on 16 July 2021 I get invoice from Tracker. Thus this answers my question I already asked in beginning of July if this is two different companies. As I came to the conclusion then with above mentioned points MiX is not even part of Tracker in any way and I did not give my details to any other tracking companies. Please tell me how I can get this MiX device removed from my car and how to also cancel beameprotection. Also I would like to know where MiX got all my information?
Recently the Cell C contract of my wife stopped calling out as it would disconnect after one ring and I then wiped phone clean multiple times and reran updates which took a few hours each time and it still did same thing. So today I went to a Cell C shop to find out what is wrong. They told me my wife ran out of Cell C any network airtime thus it will only work when calling to any Cell C number. That is so pathetic that Cell C has started doing stuff like recently since it doesn't even give a message that the any network airtime is finished. I checked website for the costs = R19 for 30 minutes Cell C to Any Network Voice Call valid for 7 days. R45 for 90 minutes Cell C to Any Network Voice Call valid for 14 days. R99 for 240 minutes Cell C to Any Network Voice Call valid for 30 days. R199 for 900 minutes Cell C to Any Network Voice Call valid for 30 days. And all these packages isn't even shown on Absa App so when you select to buy Cell C airtime it will just count towards the Cell C to Cell C topup option. I will definitely cancel these contracts when they expire and chances of taking any Cell C product ever again is zero. Who ever at Cell C thought it is a smart move to split airtime between Cell C to Cell C and Cell C to any network made the wrong decision. Have any at Cell C ever thought what would happen if someone is in trouble and can't even call a family or friend to assist due to having ran out of this stupid any network airtime. I will not put any extra money into Cell C by buying Cell C to any network airtime. I will rather just go get a MTN prepaid sim and then just add that to her phone and top that up rather with airtime than giving Cell C a cent more. Scummy moves like this do not deserve extra money from costumers. I can't remember that I was even informed that contract is split into so many different systems of airtimes like this. Now my wife is sitting with Cell C airtime which she can't even use that much since not many of our contacts use Cell C. Seems Cell C don't like having customers and only in it for themselves since they keep making stupid decisions that only benefit themselves and not customers. So Cell C well done you will loose a customer as soon as these contracts expire I will warn family and friends also about these tactics and I won't even let my wife stay onto prepaid Cell C when that happens since you do not deserve that prepaid money. I am on MTN prepaid and have no problems and don't have to buy multiple airtime packages just to make calls to other networks. One MTN airtime works towards all networks. I also think you should rather chance your slogan from "Connect your way" to = Connect the Cell C way since we will do anything to make sure Cell C gets the best deal for the money Customers pay and we do not care about our Customers since we love milking them for every cent and providing as little benefit to them as possible. Feel free to use that proposed slogan since that seems more in line with what Cell C is giving to customers. Also I suggest you change that info on pamphlets and internet stating (Any-net minutes to Any network numbers calling minutes) and (On-net minutes to Cell C to Cell C numbers only calling minutes) since I had to search long to find out what all that now means since I can't remember that anyone ever mentioned what it entails, I think this might make some others think twice before getting any Cell C contracts since it seems like only Cell C and Telkom are doing this scummy multiple airtime calling network stuff.
I got my fibre installed on 31 August 2020 by Frogfoot, D and H Fibre and am enjoying it fully. I had a 150Gb LTE before and always had to worry about data cap and buffering when I download games and wifey wants to watch Netflix, but now we don't have to worry about caps anymore. I can now download games from Steam while wifey watches Netflix and the kiddies watches youtube on phones with no buffering. Just want to thank you all for bringing Fibre to our town after we have been waiting so long for it. Just want to thank Afrihost (ISP I am using), Frogfoot Fibre and D & H Fibre for the very good service.
Been using them for a few months already for hosting Ark Survival Evolved server. Every time I had to contact them the problems dealt with speedily and professional and sorted out and I even got help on a Sunday. Awesome service and keep up the good job.
Black Friday in 2017 I took a Data Package from MTN for R499 for 60Gb day and 40Gb night data and the following 3 months MTN kept on giving me 20Gb less day and for those 3 months I had to kept on calling them and ask them to fix it even had a review about it on HelloPeter and after 3 months they finally got my data package right, . In November 2019 the contract was about to expire and MTN again MTN gave me 20Gb less day data and I wrote to them stating to stop bothering me with upgrade messages since now I see they can't get contracts right and I will be cancelling it when it expires. Thus I used that last data and in December 2019 I called MTN to cancel and I explained why I don't want to cancel and the person who helped me asked why I don't just take a 40Gb day and 40Gb night package from MTN then which I said no and I was told my contract will be cancelled. 2 weeks ago I check sim card and no data is on it so I was happy since now I am done with MTN contracts but in January 2019 I was debited R538.21 from MTN and don't get anything from MTN. I want this fixed MTN. I want my money back ASAP and please don't even try saying you will give me the data since I already gotten Fixed LTE last month so got enough data. I want my money back now and not at the end of the month. I want it back within this week. How do you think people will take contracts again in future if you try stuff like this. I will rather stay pre-paid then than get any MTN contract ever again.
I took a contract a few months ago from Cell C and was given 2 sim cards along with the phone and was told by the Shop that the second sim I can cancel after 3 months due to it being 300mb which I have to take. Yesterday phoned to cancel that sim only to be told by Customer service that I have 2 contracts and if I wish to cancel that 300mb sim I must pay penalties. Went back to the shop and was informed that I should have cancelled sim after a month. I was told in the shop when I took the phone that I must wait 3 months before I can cancel it if I don't want that extra simcard, but now all of a sudden is on 2 contracts which the 300mb almost works out R100. The shop said I must call customer service to tell them even after I told the shop I did already. It seems like Cell C is fine taking money but when it comes to complains they just don't care and won't listen even when explaining a few times over phone they just say, to cancel will include penalties. Will never take any type of deals from Cell C ever again.
On 25 November 2017 I went to MTN shop to get the Mega Deal of 100GB data for R499 and was told by MTN employee that MTN system is having problems and that they will phone me when I can go get the Sim card. I asked her will I still get my full 100GB and she replied yes. Got the sim a few days later and again I asked her will I still get the 100GB for R499 as advertised and she said yes but will be prorated till December 2017 which I said is fine. Got about 15GB then. At 21 December 2018 I only got 80GB and was missing 20GB. Made a call to customer care and got my 20GB but the bill showed I owe MTN over R900 for 1 month. I paid then the R499 since was told by MTN store there are problems with billing. In January 2018 again only got 80GB and again missing 20GB and now the bill shows I owe them R750 and again not the R499 as per Mega deal. Emailed a few times but MTN ignores it. I see alot of people have this problem and MTN don't care about the customers since they get their money. I think it would be better to just go back to the store I got the sim card and see if I can cancel this contract since MTN has no interests in helping anyone.
