I have placed an order and paid. Payment included delivery. On 26 Feb 2026 it will be 20 days since I paid for my order. There is still no movement! I contacted them and was told that sorry, it was not yet even delivered in South Africa. They also informed me that the order will be handed to the SA Post Office as soon as it is checked by customs. It did not state that my parcel will be handed to SA Post Office when I placed the order. I explained that the Post Offices around us closed down years ago. They did not care and told me that it was too late for them to help me further and that I will just have to wait. I checked with the SA Post Office (obviously some hub somewhere) and was told that if they receive the parcel, I will have to fetch it. I am so angry at Fruugo for not explaining how delivery works and how long parcels take. I would have gladly paid more to get my parcel delivered by courier - the same way Temu and Shein gets parcels delivered. I mean almost 20 days with no movement of my parcel! Then the stress of how it will reach me. I guess it's a parcel that will never be received.
No notice given to clients about them being totally offline. That is on the App and on the Internet. I could not find any news anywhere to calm my nerves as I must make urgent payments that is affecting me personally if not made at a certain time. Please can we have feedback???
What a wonderful experience I had this morning talking to Adnan at King Price. He knew the products and could answer all my questions. He also explained everything in detail so that I could make an informed decision. My new policy was e-mailed to me almost immediately! He went the extra mile to phone the dealership where I bought my car! Awesome service. Thank you King Price for employing such good and efficient staff!!!
