Sent tTata truck to JP autoelectrical Steeldale for repairs on alternator. They advised me that alternator cannot be repaired and fitted another unit which was modified for application without our consent .. thereafter vehicle was not working properly. had 4 x breakdowns due to this modified alternator. Cost R 2650.00 JP auto remains adamant that this alternator was correct. We then advised them that we will be taking the vehicle to another repairer to check. they were ok with it. The other repairer replaced a part on our original alternator which cost R 500.00 and vehicle is working perfectly. On enquir with JP Auto Electrical on our refund, they declined claiming that they wiil not refund as they still believe that they are just in doing so even though they took their alternator back so we paid for something that didnt work and also which we returned... hence we are left with NOTHING...
