PayFast is one of the most disappointing services I’ve experienced in this country. Their customer service is almost non-existent. I signed up a day ago and was asked to provide a description of my business, which I sent promptly. I received no response and had to follow up, only to then be asked for a company profile or brochure, which I also provided. My account is still not active. I’m not sure whether they are under-resourced, using untrained staff, or simply not prioritising customer service, but the experience has been extremely frustrating. I use Wise and PayPal for my international clients and have never encountered this level of poor service.
