My account has been pending verification since 06/03/2026 but the process is supposed to take 1-3 days. This is very disapointing and the fact that there hasn't been any communication makes it worse. Can someone please assist.

I registered for a PayFast account days ago and submitted all the required documentation, however, my account is still pending verification. Given that your company positions itself as a facilitator of business growth, the delay in the verification process is both concerning and frustrating.

I have a problem with their payment gateway and I need it sorted out before I can make the website live and start accepting payments. I waited 3 days to get a response asking me what the issue is, which I showed them. Then the lady asked me for a number and a time so they can call me. Never got a call and so I sent another email. Now I have to wait another 3 days before someone will respond. Are all payment providers this bad?

I have contacted payfast to reverse a payment that was made through their platform this morning of the 2n of March 2026 to the amount of R1105.00. The merhant was a ****mer yet i was informed this *****ster cant use payfast if they dont register with payfast. Website: www.peptidepen.co.za but on bank statement (payfast) ref is Novagenix PTY. I demand my moneg back as Payfast allow ****mers to use their platform! It came to my attention that they duplicated several sites with all the payfast option. How do you allow this? Dont you do background checks on these ****mers?

PayFast is one of the most disappointing services I’ve experienced in this country. Their customer service is almost non-existent. I signed up a day ago and was asked to provide a description of my business, which I sent promptly. I received no response and had to follow up, only to then be asked for a company profile or brochure, which I also provided. My account is still not active. I’m not sure whether they are under-resourced, using untrained staff, or simply not prioritising customer service, but the experience has been extremely frustrating. I use Wise and PayPal for my international clients and have never encountered this level of poor service.

It is completely impossible to get straight forward API assistance. Days and Days of waiting for help, and still nothing. My custom application could already have been running and PayFast/Paygate will make money on each transaction. But looks like they have enough money.
