PayFast

Payfast - Impossible to reach
Been trying since Tuesday to apply and set up card machine an online payment platform for websites. Filled in everything online, submitted all the paperwork. Got a ticket number. Been trying to follow up on the ticket and the ONLY option is to do an online chatbot chat BEFORE logging into my existing account. I cannot find any way to communicate with PayFast whilst logged in on system. Emails are not being responded to and the people on the online chat are just as un-helpful. What do I have to do to speak to a HUMAN that will actually be able to give me an update on my application? Why is it so hard to get good service for something so simple?

Nedbank does not know what happened to bank card they were supposed to deliver in January 2026!!!!!
Trying to track down my mother-in-laws credit card that we paid R150 to be delivered. She app**** for it in JANUARY already. Have made numerous phone calls over the months. Nobody knows what is going on and every time we phone they just escalate the matter. How many times do they actually have to escalate a problem before something gets done? All i want is my bank card so I can have access to my money.

Whatsapp chats do not work FB messages goes unanswered Calling the offices you just get placed on hold till your airtime eventually runs out. Super frustrated at the moment. Need to speak to a HUMAN and it seems there is none working there!

Hospitalisation vs out patient treatment
At the height of the Covid pandemic I had to go to hospital for tests regarding terrible migranes I have. Due to the fact that hospitals are the WORST place to be during this time I opted to rather go for the tests "out of hospital" I am not employed at the moment. I have been paying my premiums despite that. If I get booked into hospital I cannot bake (which at the moment is my only source of income - sporadic) Baking helps me pay my medical aid premiums. So if I went to hospital I would be in a situation where i might be exposed to corona, lose income and not be able to pay my premiums. I sent an e mail to medihelp requesting them to review the payment for my blood tests out of hospital. I asked who I can contact regarding application for review based on the above mentioned circumstances. Short end of it is that I have to pay for it. They did not even give me the option to apply for review. It is pathetic to say the least. Bear in mind that my mother in law was admitted to the same hospital and a person could walk into the hospital, straight through to her bed without being stopped. if I went to hospital I would not be able to bake meaning I do not have income to pay my premiums. If i got infected whilst in hospital i would not be able to bake and also not be able to pay my premiums. Now I am sitting with a bill of over R13 000. And they are not very helpful to let me apply for a review at least

Bad bad customer service
Logged a call for repairs on a hob(via their site) still under warranty, got a phone call trying to arrange a time (after we specifically stated that repairs can only be done on a Wednesday. As this Wednesday was a public holiday it was agreed to make arrangements for a later date. They tried to make appointment for another weekday and we again informed them that we only have Wednesdays to do this. Since then, we have not heard from them again. Been through the whole story so many times that I do not even car to repeat the story here. Just really pathetic from them. Since we bought the hob it has been repaired a couple of times... Still same problem arises. Requested a replacement unit as the hob is clearly faulty.... Please can someone get back to me as I am fed up waiting on a phone line wasting my airtime and time.

Pathetic Service
Logged a call for repairs on a oven(via their site) still under warranty and still no response from Defy. Trying to get through to someone via phone is impossible. They sent a response promising that someone will be in contact... Wha ha ha! Since then... Crickets.... Been through the whole story so many times that I do not even car to repeat the story here. Just really pathetic from them. Since we bought the oven it has been non stop issues trying to get it properly. Even a replacement oven is giving problems. Please can someone get back to me as I am fed up waiting on a phone line wasting my airtime and time.

Pick n Pay

Port Elizabeth, 5 Ways
This is an message i sent to PnP on the 1st of November 2017. To date... No feedback... I live in Newton Park Port Elizabeth where there is 2 electricity prepaid selling points literally within walking distance from my home. I work in Westbourne road and because there is a pick and pay at the 5ways crossing at a petrol station I have decided to purchase electricity there since I started working in this area in August. The reason is 2 fold. I have a pick and pay points card so anything I buy earns me points. I hardly ever shop at a spar or checkers. Considering that there is a Spar right across the road in Five Ways and also a block away from my house in Newton Park I still drive the little bit further to support Pick and Pay. This morning left an incredibly bitter taste in my mouth. I dealt with a lady there (The name on the cashier slip is Ntobo, but the name on her bage as a bit longer so not 100% sure if it is the same lady. I have a photograph on my phone of my electricity card. I have used this as a way of purchasing electricity for over 3 years now. At this specific shop they always request that the card number be written on a s**** of paper (human error - and you write the number down wrong and electricity gets loaded to wrong premises) So I ask the lady for a s**** of paper. She ignored me, making mumbled remarks about numbers that should be handwritten on a s**** of paper. She then started helping the lady behind me. I was standing with some purchases I needed to make in my hand as well, money ready to pay. Upon asking for a piece of paper again (to do a pointless exercise of writing down a number)... She ranted about not accepting phones with photographs and I should ask for paper. I did tell her that I did ask for a piece of paper upon which the rude remarks just continued... This while they help customers with s****s of papers and old slips from previous purchases with the meter number on (which also needs to be typed onto the machine manually like they do with the photograph on a phone. On previous occasions the address was confirmed before processing the transaction, which is a standard practice when purchasing electricity from places. This time it did not happen. Now the question arises on how people can work at a cashier ignore a paying client who bypasses 2 other possible shops to support a Pick and pay and make small purchases like sweets and cooldrink. Maybe it is the rule with them to not take a phone, which baffles me completely considering the 2 areas of human error that slips in if a piece of paper with a scribbled number on a old slip is handed in. Sureley the accuracy of a picture of an electrical card is more accurate than a handwritten s**** of paper. I can understand if it is a procedure enforced by their manager. But rudeness and blatant ignoring of a paying customer is not understandable. I am extremely disappointed in the treatment I received and have decided not to support the store, rather purchase electricity online or at the two shops closer at home and shop at the 5 ways Spar. The question I have for you is will something be done about this rude person or will this just be ignored?
