Maybe I am just lucky or maybe the God of Shopping has been watching over me but all my online orders and once a year visit to Makro in CT have been incident free. In store can get hectic especially for someone who avoids crowds so in that respect I am fortunate indeed that most of my orders are online and I cannot fault them, comms are great, processing is quick and delivery is pain-free. I have no problem with their service and will continue to support them
A few bad experiences in the past has resulted in me being a bit "uncertain or even anxious" when I consider placing an order with a Company for the first time, Futurama was no exception however my experience with my online order showed that any "anxiety" I might have felt was unfounded. Gaby and the team were brilliant, kept me informed, order was quickly processed and delivery was quick and painless. I would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone and I will be glad to do business with them again.
I live in the middle of nowhere so 99% of my orders have to be placed online, for that reason I cant comment on "in store" service, what I can say is that over the past couple of years my online orders have all been dealt with quickly and efficiently, goods ordered were always available and never "sold out...waiting for stock" delivery was quick and painless, so I can certainly rate them 5 stars on their online service.
I placed an order online so I am not sure which branch processed my order, what I can say is that this is the 1st time I have bought from them and is often the case with first time purchases I did not know what to expect and hoped for the best. What I did experience was a quick response to my order and frequent updates, fast despatch with tracking number, items were veery well packaged and whole transaction and delivery went off like without any hitches. I can recommend them, and I will be happy to do business with them again.

For many weeks I hunted for a store that could supply Oxilic Acid and Washing Soda in the quantities that I needed, I was on the point of giving up when I came across your store and I am delighted to say you had exactly what I was looking for. Be very cautious before buying from this lot. I ordered two sets of blades at a cost of R999.00 ...only one set arrived. I phoned them and they basically washed their hands of me, I was told that I should have inspected the package in front of the Courier and checked the contents when it was delivered. Now here's the risk for every person buying from them, if you are at work or pop out to go somewhere and your Housekeeper or someone else signs for the pack and later when you get home its either not what you ordered or damaged or less than what you ordered you can forget to get one ounce of co-operation from them. This means you have to make sure you are at home when the Courier arrives and then open the package in the street so that you can inspect the contents....now I ask you many buyers are in a position to do this, most people are at work for one thing. The disgusting thing for me is not only the loss of R499 but the fact that they could not be bothered to even check their stock inventory against their existing stock which would have shown one extra on their shelf....they could not care less, so my advice to anyone wishing to buy anything, do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere, as for me they will never get another cent out of me.
A few months back I ordered and handbag for my Daughters Birthday, she was not expecting it and was pleasantly surprised to see he initials embossed on the side which made it kind of special. The service I received from you was faultless, delivery took place quickly, your communications were helpful, it was a pain-free transaction for which I am most grateful, the quality of the product was really great and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone.
A couple of months ago I was visiting Cape Town for a couple of weeks, whilst there I decided to take all my shirts and other clothes to you for washing and ironing, this was my first visit to you. Well all I can say was I was absolutely blown away, the Lady running this outlet was in another league and it was one of my standout moments in Cape Town, she was just so friendly, efficient, reliable and reasonable that I could not stop talking about the level of service I received, my clothes were washed and ironed to perfection and the price was cheap at the price, my compliments to the Manager and other ladies working here... thank you all so much.
