I booked at Pretoria hotel in June for two nights. I was issued an invoice as proof of payment. On my way back to Durban, an unforseen accident occured. My invoice was then misplaced. When I called the hotel to request for another invoice ,the receptionist asked for my details and e-mail address to send me the Invoice . After a while I didn't receive the email, so I called again. This time she tells me that they changed they system so they won't be able to assist me. I then asked to speak to the manager. The manager then told me that there is absolutely nothing he can do and i should figure out myself as to how i will get the Invoice . I urgently need the invoice for work purposes, I need to make claims. It will be impossible to receive my claims without the proof of payment. I really fail to understand why clients information are not stored regardless of the system changes. Something must be done.
