Reservations - Brenda was very helpful in the beginning but after payment was made and received on her side I had to wait 2 weeks for a response and eventually ended up calling a day before our booking to get further information Arrival - The security guard at the gate directed us where to drive thereafter we ended up wondering around the paths towards the water as we were not sure where to go and check in. Eventually a gentleman approached us and explained we needed to be seated inside the restaurant. It was very much unorganized. Treatments - The first treatment went smoothly and was quite pleasant thereafter we had the foot massage and exfoliation but we had to wait quite a while before our the******s arrived with their water even though we were seated first. The other big group of guests arrived shortly after and we heard one of the ladies complaining about having to wait outside seated on the cement. Their the******s arrived one by one with their water and ours only arrived after that, They can definitely be more prepared. Beverages - Lebogang explained that we will have a short break in between our treatments to allow them time to prepare for the very last back treatment and that she will come get us at the restaurant where we can have drinks in the meantime. We ordered 2 drinks, one Miller and one Savannah light. The Savannah light which I ordered was perfectly fine however the Millers cap was rusty, the label moldy underneath and upon checking the expiry date noticed that the drink expired in 2016. The waiter/barman brought us another one and asked to check whether it was fine or not even though it was already opened and the expiry date was rubbed off, We explained that we would share the Savannah. The last treatment - Lebogang came to fetch us and we proceeded to the very last treatment which was the back massage, The treatment room where we had this treatment could definitely use some improvement. The other thing that I really do not want to mention but I feel is very necessary is that even though Lebogang is extremely friendly and nice she had a bit of an unpleasant smell to her which I experienced with the back massage as she was very close to me. The Honeymoon suite - Joseph took us to our room and showed us around, He was very helpful and friendly as well. The first impression of the suite was very nice, It was beautifully decorated however even though I know it is a thatch roof I would definitely recommend getting a mosquito net perhaps to cover the canopy bed as we found bugs in the bed as well as spider webs everywhere in the room, In the corner of the canopy bed right at the top was a thick spider web that does not accumulate over night as well as behind the mirror and numerous other places in the room. We also had two power outages during our stay in the room (Due to the bad weather I would assume) Dinner - Dinner was absolutely amazing and I would like to extend my compliments to Chef Vincent! From the starter straight through to the dessert, The background music compliments the food beautifully. Our dinner was most definitely the highlight of our stay. Departure - Breakfast the morning of the departure was also truly amazing. We proceeded to check out and Princess assisted us. I had to pay an outstanding bill of +- R 148 which I'm assuming would have been for the beverages that we drank, However they still charged us for the Miller that was rusty and expired. Just before we left I explained to Princess that we never received our complimentary soy massage candle and she claims that it is not included in the anniversary package however that is not what the standard packages brochure that Brenda sent me reflects (Attached) There were also no rose petals in the room.
