This is a complaint about the poor customer service received by the Margate mini Coaches Shuttle to King Shaka on 29 December 2017. At around 12pm I contacted your office to confirm the arrival time for the shuttle. About 10 minutes later I again called to ascertain whether I was at the correct pick up point. It turns out I was at the wrong pick up point in Scottesburg being the Mall instead of the Hotel. I then requested the lady to assist me by calling the drive to find out where he was and to tell him that I would be at the pick up point in 4 minutes. I was met with a rather hostile and rude response, that the shuttle would not wait for me, without even checking wether this was indeed the case! I went as far as to request that I be given the drivers number because she was not coming with any solution to the problem instead she was dismissive and rude. By the time I arrived at the correct pick up point , to my surprise the shuttle was still there as all the passengers had requested a toilet break,which took about 15 minutes out of its normal departure schedule. My complaint is essentially about the hostile and dismissive attitude displayed by the lady answering the company phone. Her blatant refusal to assist me nearly caused me to miss the shuttle and flight. Her lack of professionalism& basic telephone etiquette is rather disappointing for such a well established company & I would hope it will be corrected to avoid further issues in this regard.
