As for the past 5 years every time we at our Holiday Home, DSTV will spoil our holiday. Just been on the phone with an agent for the 4th time, for 63 minutes and still they cannot fix an error!!!!!! DSTV is a typical company owed by nobody, the worst service you can get anywhere !!! Their systems is a mess, agents not trained to assist and sort out issues stemming from DSTV own systems. Pathetic. Rating minus 100!!!
After experiencing the worst service ever from DSTV in December 2002 and January 2021, it was very pleasing to visit the DSTV outlet in Paarl on Friday and being assisted by Adele Davids. A well trained, professional and very pleasant person, who, within 30 minutes, sorted out all issues that the DSTV call center could not solve in 5 hours on the phone. What a relief to encounter this top serve from a DSTV employee, I just wish all staff were as well trained and well spoken. Thank You Adele!!!
True to DSTV's now famous bad service, I have spend 4 hours on the phone with them over the last month sorting out THEIR problems!! Staff not well trained, staff who cannot fix ertor codes and who do not understand the difference between switch and activate!! Every year same problems while at holiday home. I rate DSTV the worse company to deal with in SA. Hope we get competitors soon. Very frustrating!!
Ongoing. After my Hellopeter report, DSTV send me a message that they will be in touch soon....well, it's 4 days later, and guess....same issues once again. Had to call them, employee Amanda (customer service agent) took my call, put me on hold for 54 minutes, then cuts me off....called again, Siphokazi resolved my issue in 10 minutes. None of the DSTV self service of the new whatsup service worked!!! Is this because they have the monopoly in pay-tv in South Africa. Must be by a long mile the worse customer service ever!!! Going to send them a bill for 18 hours on the phone, because of their system errors!!!
Very frustrating dealing with the "new" DSTV whatsup and self service options. Last two encounters I spend over an hour on the phone just to fix issues on DSTV's side!! Transferred the package from holiday home to primary residence yesterday, just to find this morning it has been changed back to holiday home. Now already 20 minutes on the phone with Steven to try and fix the error, once again, a DSTV error. The time and money spend on calls - if you can get through to them - is just shocking. I feel for the poor agents at the call center who always need to apologize on behalf of DSTV for the systems not working!! Please try and put systems in place that are working and user friendly, and above all, that are working as intended. If I could give minus 5 stars to DSTV I would have!! Pathetic.
For the third time in a row, Mango airlines flight was delayed by three hours!! No notification, arrived at Cape Town International at 04h45 to catch the 06h10 flight to Lanseria, just to notice flight delayed until 09h10. Thank you Mango for making me cancel 2 important meetings in Johannesburg. Mango must be by a long mile be the worst airline in South Africa at present. Third time in a row that Mango delay a flight I was on!! Pathetic.
Placed an order and paid for it. Send payment confirmation as requested via mail. It's more than a week since. Trying to contact via mail, telephonically , no answer or response!! Stay away from this company.
