Fraudulent business practices: South Africans beware

I made an order for protein off a South African website (my protein.co.za) and was charged in rands. When my order arrived, more than a month later, there were associated customs duties to 1/3 of the value of the order. At no point was it evident that I was ordering from a non-South African company and that as a result I would likely have to pay import duties. Finally I was told by the company to look at the terms and conditions link (in tiny print) on the website, where there were details that this was a non-South African company.
