I am extremely disappointed in service or rather lack of service received from Snatcher. I have placed an order on the 8 July 2021 and have made the necessary payment, as per the online process. I have received an email for the payment made and the deduction is also reflected on my bank account. I have not received an order number and neither have I received the product. I have been trying to get hold of them on the published number, but nobody is available due to Covid 19. Neither is anybody responding to the emails send to info@snatcher.co.za, as per their claims procedure. I am also unable to log into their system, which seems not to be working.
In January 2018 my Telkom Landline went down and I tried to report it to Telkom via their toll free number 10210. I used my my Vodacom cell phone to do this. I have a Vodacom contract and had more than 600 available minutes. However, after the first call to the 10210 number, I got a message that I do not have sufficient airtime on my phone. The second time the number would not even ring. I then used my wife's cell phone, who is on the same contract, but she also had some prepaid airtime on her phone and I could call the number. I have subsequently found out that unless you have prepaid airtime on you cell phone, you can no longer dial any of the previous so called "Toll Free" numbers. We contacted Vodacom, who confirmed this and even made a statement that is is specified in our contracts, which is not true. There is nothing in any of our contracts about this. We even approach a local Vodacom Agency, who did not know about this and who were very surprised. I am not sure of how many people are aware of this, but Vodacom sneaked this in, without our knowledge and without communicating this with their own agencies. This implies that in case of an emergency, you and I would not be able to even dial your medical aid's Toll free number from your cell phone, unless you have some prepaid airtime on your phone. SO: WHEN USING YOUR CELL PHONE, THEIR IS NO SUCH THING AS "TOLL FREE" NUMBERS.
In May 2015 I damaged by cars front bumper and I was referred to Targa Panel beaters, in Centurion, by myInsurance for some minor repairs. In October 2017 the paint started to peal off and in November I took it back to Targa. I was told by Freddie that this is not poor workmanship or poor quality and it does happen when there is a chip on the car and it is then washed with the normal type of water pressure hoses, the water will strip the paint. I told them that, if this was the case, then every car's paint should peal off, as every car do pickup minor stone chips on our road. I also told them that it is interesting that in all the years my car never did this, until they have resprayed my car. I went back to my insurance who requested that I obtain the opinion from another pane beater, which I did. As a matter of fact two other panel beaters confirmed that it looks like the primer used, were not properly dried before the painting was done., hence the reason for the paint now pealing of. I went back to my insurance who contacted Target. Targa then request me to take the car to them for another inspection and then promised feedback after one week. I contacted them every week and only after three weeks they told me that they stand by their initial view that is not poor quality or workmanship. I have now gone back to my insurance with their final response and a request to stop business with Targa Panel Beaters.
