After experiencing Internet connection and reaction time issues, I telephonically contacted the Mweb Technical Support team. I must mention that the time in the queue unfortunately was extremely long (both times were 30 minutes plus). Regardless, kudos to Shelvin who assisted me... He was patient, knowledgeable, so polite and extremely helpful. He had to spend some time on the phone with me - but never became impatient! Shelvin, you are an absolute asset to Mweb. Thank you for your professional conduct and willingness to assist....
On 31 January 2026 I found my car with a flat battery. I called Santam Road Assist and the call was answered by a very proficient, professional consultant (Thato Moloto) from the Santam Road Assistance team. She immediately asked me if I was safe and promptly actioned my request for assistance. She kept me informed and provided detail via SMS the whole time. Within 6 minutes, Ntabanyane from A-Z Towing Services responded with his contact details, vehicle registration and approximate time of arrival. Within minutes, they started by car and I was on my way. Thato called again to ask if I was sorted. All I can say is WOW!!!! Santam Road Assist, you really deserve a feather in your cap for your excellent service. I now have peace of mind knowing that you are there.... always! A BIG, BIG thank you for being there in times we need support...
We have, for a long time, not visited the Kruger National Park as campers - we used to drive in for a day only. We recently decided to visit the Kruger National Park for longer and do some camping - for 5 weeks! We camped at Punda Maria, Shingwedzi, Tsendze Rustic Camp, Balule Satellite Camp, Satara Rest Camp, Crocodile Bridge and Berg en Dal. What amazing sightings and experiences we had! Kudos go to the staff at ALL those camps - the ablutions were spanking clean, there was a good supply of toilet paper, they were cleaned regularly and some of the ladies bathrooms were even decorated! The ablutions at Punda Maria at the time, was very small/limited - we hope it has been sorted by now. The ******s also created havoc whenever they had the chance. At the Tsendze Rustic Camp we experienced the hospitality of Rodgers Hobyane and Elina Mona. Rogers showed us where the resident cops owls were. At Balule Satelite Camp, we met Vivian Mathavhathi and loved the atmosphere she created when lighting the paraffin lamps! Satara Rest Camp just never seem to disappoint - full and busy but still enjoyable. Although we didn't see that many lions, leopard sightings were good and the hyena den we saw, a lovely surprise. Crocodile Bridge was an unexpected gem - we enjoyed the variety of roads one could explore. We didn't expect Berg en Dal to be as big and busy - but it was well-maintained with a lovely Rhino Hall. All of the camps offered well-stocked shops and good facilities. We need to compliment the South African National Parks (SANParks) on the standard and facilities we could enjoy and will definitely be back - maybe just visiting some of the other camps but... WE WILL BE BACK AND LOVED EVERY MOMENT in the Kruger National Park...

We were introduced by Dhasi Lounge Suite Repairs and Upholstery by Mariè from Rochester Centurion Lifestyle Centre – after we battled for close to 2 years to get a company to do maintenance (re-upholster / re-foam and service the meganisms) of our Alphine Chiba Lounge Suite. We were not satisfied with the reaction time or cooperation we received from Rochester for the last 2 years. We wrote a complaint about their service on 21 July 2025 and Mariè came back to us the same day. The next day (22 July 2025) we received a call from Dhasi Lounge Suite Repairs and Upholstery (I think it as Irene Arendse) informing that the Lounge Suite will be collected on 24 July 2025. Sibonga Ndlovu and his helper (I unfortunately didn’t get his name) arrived on time to collect the set. What was so special was that he kept us informed via WA on the time he would arrive, where they were, etc. When they loaded the suite, they used boxes as protection on the corners and we were comfortable that our set will not be damaged. Since we left for Kruger National Park for close to 5 weeks, we were informed about the delivery and payment on 18 August 2024 – we even received an electronic Invoice on WA in order for us to make payment. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the professional work done by Dhasi Lounge Suite Repairs and Upholstery. We don’t have to doubt the skills and experience of the craftsmen as we were given a 3 months (guarantee period) to see if the upholstery will not collapse/remain firm. We will be in touch should it become necessary... A big THANK YOU to all involved - your prompt assistance and professional conduct is highly appreciated.
We have been trying for more than 2 years to find information regarding the servicing of the mechanism (5 action) for our 3-2-1 Chiba Impala Hide Lounge suite. It has been serviced in 2011. In 2024 we contacted the outlet at Mall@Reds. We were promised to be contacted with instructions on what needed to happen. Nothing happened. Only empty promises were made and we gave up with them at the end. They just never got back to one, gave feedback on query or had the intention to be of assistance. We contacted the outlet in Centurion Lifestyle Centre on 24 June 2025 and spoke to Kamva. Sent photo's. Were promised feedback. Followed up. No response to messages. USELESS CONSULTANTS!!!! NO AFTER-SALES SERVICE.
We found this "home-away-from-home" on the internet and as a result of the favorable reviews, decided to stay over on 30 April 2024 (on our way to Botswana). From the word go (making the reservation) until we departed, Lizette treated us as if we were royalty. Her responses were prompt, the communication clear, the room clean and serviced upon our arrival and not a thing out of place. Our stay was comfortable, commendable and good value for our money - the spanking clean room and facilities met our needs and requirements to the tee. Lizette was a super-friendly, accommodating and professional hostess and we will most definitely stay over at De La Rose Guesthouse if required in future. Well done on exceeding our expectations, Lizette....
We joined Bhejane 4x4 Adventures for the second time on a Botswana tour between 1 - 11 May 2024. Once again: WOW, WOW, WOW and WOW! This was one of the most pleasurable, informative and exiting tours we have attended thus far. Pete Collins, your have been an awesome tour leader. Your crew/assistants (Vermaak Senosi, Rooijan Seforo and Tumi Moletsane) ensured that we were spoilt rotten and our every need attended to. The group members were such a blessing - each one of them were so, so special and made our trip an enriching and enjoyable event. The wildlife, travelling and overall experience were next level - fulfilling, exciting, at times tiring but nonetheless exceeding our expectations! Thank you, Bhejane 4x4 Adventures for making a memory that would last forever....
We visited Namibia in 2019 and came across this gem in Jwaneng, Botswana. Since we were so impressed with the accommodation during our first trip, we decided to stay over at The Star B&B again during our recent trip from Namibia. We were travelling between Namibia and South Africa on 17 July 2023 and again made use of Thato's hospitality. We used 2 Deluxe rooms and again: it was spanking clean and offered everything one could basically desire for a brief stop-over. We had WiFi, a TV with SA channels, a small kitchenette, clean towels, fresh linen, a jug with water, body wash, tissues, etc. On top of all Thato still was the most accommodating, friendliest, politest and humble host one could wish for. Well done, The Star B&B! We are so relieved that you survived the Covid-19 challenge. Your accommodation remains good value for money and we had a lovely stay... We will definitely be back as soon as the opportunity arises...
I was admitted to Unitas Emergency yesterday morning and I need to compliment the staff there for their dedication and humane demeanor. Drs Chris and Glenville: you were the best! Professional, efficient, knowledgeable and well-versed. Nursing staff: so caring, committed and proficient. Drs Glenville even called last night to find out how I was doing. Where do you still get this treatment? Keep up the good work, Unitas Emergency. We see your efforts and appreciate your hard work...
