I am utterly disappointed and angry with the nonsense service am receiving from Netcare waterfall I went to give birth there on January 05 and contracted an infection there while delivering my baby instead of being there for 3 days i had to stay 7 days and be discharged while i was cleared Some drs claimed their money and medical aid paid without any hussle. 1st week of February the hospital send me a bill of R60000 and i immediately call medical aid and they tell me they don’t have that bill on their side, meaning the hospital is claiming from me personally and not medical aid while they have an authorisation to do so. I have been trying to get hold of the account manager incharge and am failing her name is Reginah and when i finally got her today she tells me that she is not involved in my account i must speak to Merinisha and she says the same thing that she can’t help me I need to know who can help me in that hospital because this debt is getting old and will affect my credit record because already its affecting my health. i need Help

Netcare Blaauwberg Emergency Rooms, horrible trauma experienced by negligent and *********** doctor. We laid a complaint with the hospital and days later the doctor in question has still not responded. Hospital stating she will respond at her earliest convenience. Wow really is this how you treat people and then still have the cheek to charge us almost R4k for a basically medical assault that I needed an operation for at another hospital as there is no way I am going back to your hospital.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding the treatment my mother received at Netcare Cuyler Hospital in Uitenhage on the evening of 16 March 2026. At approximately 20:00, my mother was brought into the Emergency Room while in a critical medical condition. Upon arrival, a file was opened for her and she was formally registered under file number 1018741045. Despite being registered and present in the emergency department, my mother did not receive any medical care or assistance during the time we were at the hospital. We remained at the facility for approximately three hours, from around 20:00 until roughly 23:00, waiting for help that unfortunately never came. Given the seriousness of her condition and the lack of assistance, we had no option but to leave the hospital and urgently seek help elsewhere. She was then taken to Life Mercantile Hospital in Gqeberha, where she was immediately admitted into the ICU and is currently receiving the critical care she requires. This experience has been extremely distressing for our family. We trusted that Netcare would provide immediate assistance in emergency situations. The fact that a patient in critical condition could be registered, remain in the emergency department for hours, and still receive no medical attention raises serious concerns. I sincerely hope Netcare investigates this matter and provides an explanation as to why emergency care was not provided despite my mother being registered and present in the emergency facility.

Staff are disorganized and run late. Arrived at their official published visiting hours however could not access the ICU as the staff were late in changing the sheets. Very unprofessional and unapologetic, personally I will avoid this facility at all costs.

Netcare's math aint mathing. My husband was admitted to Netcare Alberton for 8 days. The medical aid paid for 6 days. The math I was taught leaves me with2 days unpaid. Numerous calls and emails, and their math works out to 8-6=4. I was even told by a call centre agent that the call it taking too long and he has to go now. I am just now getting anywhere to explain this to anyone in the group, and with refusal to assist me with the case manager to follow up directly at the facility. I have even now been blacklisted by them.

The Netcare Gap cover communication and tracking of your claim is a disaster. I have been with them for 3 years and when i can, I wait the waiting period and then no answer. As a result of this I have to phone in again only to find they cannot locate my claim and then I have to resubmit - EVERYTIME. I have sent a mail to cancel my policy on the 4th March - guess what - NO ANSWER.
