Pick N Pay - Randridge Mall Staff are NO good with customer service. Yesterday I paid for three bakery items at the cigarette counter. The teller was just sitting in her chair, ordering the customers she was serving to come this side & that side, cause she was to lazy to get off her butt!! She was yawning all the time without putting her hand infront of her mouth. I cannot fathom why there is a chair behind the counter in the first place, as she was too overweight to work behind the counter in the first place & couldnt fit past the chair!!
Since 12th January to 6th February, I have paid a total amount of R5650 to EL Shaddai Removals. On the 6th February, I was promised after numerous prior failed attempts for collection that they have a truck big enough to load my furniture offloading for a 78 year old lady in Amanzimtoti & they are able to collect my furniture with a backoad to Jhb. However a further R1800 was demanded from me immediately, "due to my insurance being high risk" ( I must add that no terms & conditions of my GIT was sent to me, although I requested it on several occasions) I did an immediate payment, sent through POP to their email & a copy on Whatsapp to "Gerhard" / Shaun, Justin (who I might add is one & the same person answering their phone, all the men sound like the exact same person, this has been confirmed by about 4 people. Messages sent to me via email or text message - the broken English, poor Grammar & poor spelling has convinced me of this fact) Following the next few days between 6th February to the 12th February I had endless excuses as to the delay in the collection of my furniture - mostly documented on whatsapp about this 78 old lady who took 6 days to get from Harrismith to Amanzimtoti ? in order for the truck to offload her stuff to get my Furniture loaded in Dbn!! I kid you not!! ? I received a confirmation via whatsapp on the 6th Feb, that my collection is scheduled for 4pm on the 7th. On the 8th Feb I received this message from "Gehard/ Shaun" @ 5pm: "And we dont like to off load or load in the dark. And shes only on harrismith now she said she is stopping for her dogs and shes getting somethi to eat and its nearly dark will hear now what she gonna do" Another message at 7:20am on 8th Feb: "Our customer notified our office she leaving harrismith now as it was too late for her to drive just updating you.will notify when they start off loading" 8th Feb @ 3.30pm ( bear in mind this is some 8 hrs later - you don't take 8 hrs to get from Harrismith - Toti!! Its 3.5 hrs max drive)!! "Lady at her agent getting keys so we will be off loading soon" 9th Feb@ 8am "Sorry didnt cone back to you customer can move in tomorrow as she is paying for our truck to stand these days so i guess your load will be loaded on delivery of these furniture to this old lady" 11th Feb@ 8am "Good day please note guys dont work weekends on off loading thats the reason. But il get intouch with them and get back to you." (Please note the poor grammar, spelling of these quoted messages) By the 12th February I was so annoyed & demanded that the director call me. He did contact me, he is the rudest man I have come accross in my life!! He cancelled my load telephonically, I demanded that he pays me the full refund of R5650 within 24 hrs. I told him that I have already contacted my Lawyer & that I will take this matter further with the Consumer council & I will report this matter to the police, should he not refund my money. At the same token he told me that he has two lawyers, also that he has "connections" in both the police & the consumer council. He was actually "bragging" that he always gets away with his criminal activities!! I found his behaviour extremely disturbing to say the least! My lawyer contacting him directly from then onwards. He deposited R2400 in Cash into my bank at Carnival Mall in Brakpan on 13th February. It wasn't even done via EFT as a Normal Business will do. He notified through my lawyer he will refund the balance within 7 working days thereafter.... this did not happen, then my lawyer contacting him again via email.... he then replied he will refund me on 15th March..... which didnt happen On 28th March I posted my first review on this shady company - To warn other South Africans to stay clear, not to pay over any money to this company. Its a disgrace that we as consumers have to put up with these thugs that steal from us!! I have also had legal fees ontop of this which I paid. Today: 6th April, Im posting my second review on hellopeter. Shaun De Jager / El Shaddai please note: A review cannot be removed from hellopeter - please read their FAQ... I can however give you a better rating, & the only way I will consider this, is if I get the balance of my money paid over to me, plus my legal costs. There are numerous sites which your company has been "blacklisted" by angered customers : Its simple STOP robbing & lying to SAn's & you won't get bad reviews. You dont have your own trucks, you are relying on subbies, who you probably rob from as well, you dont have branches all over SA, you dont have storage facilities. Thank you hellopeter for creating this informative platform for SAn consumers if only I saw these reviews before I paid over money to thugs!! ? I have learnt a lesson to first check out any business on hellopeter & reviews beneath the webpage before doing any transaction whatsoever!!
haun De Jager - Owner of EL Shaddai is a Criminal Fraudster Don't pay over any of your hard earned cash - you won't see you money or furniture or both again!! Shaun De Jager will spin you any lies & he calls himself a "Christian", he is nothing more than an "illbred, uncouth & corrupt SAn". Shaun De Jager / EL Shaddai does NOT even own a truck, he has no branches all over the country as he claims, its all lies!! He has no warehousing facilities, if you lucky he will store your furniture in his backyard. He runs his criminal activity by "robbing Peter to pay Paul" & will claim that he is unwritten by Outsurance, its all lies, no reputable company will unwrite such a fraudster. Please do yourself a favour & check out the bad reviews on this criminal on Hellopeter, gumtree & of course on Google reviews, right under his nose! Everyone can't be wrong. Be warned!! Don't pay over any money to this Thug, he is bad news!! He claims to have "connections" in the Consumer Council & Police.
