Roratau Tented Camp - where lions Roar
Excellent location, private and nature exceptional with lions roaring. Facilities cleand and hosts super friendly and respecting privacy.

Professional Service
Beginning June 2023 we purchased a caravan by Sales Executive Paul who's professional service and commitment to his promises were exceptional. Edward on the other hand was knowledgeable and shared the technical specifications of our Jurgens Exclusive. A big shout out to Paul and Edward. Speciality Cake Disaster
Disappointment, unbelief and horrified is the only way to describe the speciality cake presented to me at a price tag of R550 for my daughter’s 21st birthday. Being further threatened with a lawyer and bullied that if I do not take this “beautiful” cake was a shocker. This all started on the morning when we confirmed collection time. The cake was not done! We did not pay a deposit to confirm the order! During our consultation appointment with Geraldine in Jan no mention of a deposit, the order was written in the diary. During subsequent whatsapps with picts and requirements, no deposit mentioned. We only received confirmation that all in order. Geraldine said she will make the cake and have it ready by 16h00. When collecting, Geraldine was not in the shop. The cake had no resemblance to any pic on the order and blue icing was not in the pics or mentioned. I received a blue iced cake with armature ugly fat sugar art flowers on top and a fat 21 on the side. I left the shop without the cake. My daughter received a whatsapp from Geraldine saying how dare your mom, this is not the way to treat someone that did you a favour and your mom will hear from my lawyer. I immediately responded to Geraldine saying I am on my way back to the shop, let’s discuss with the pics on what was ordered. She thought this was nonsense and did not have time for me, take the cake – now at a reduced price – or hear from my lawyer was the attitude. The 3 x staff members in the shop agreed that the cake was not what was ordered and that this was unacceptable. Owing to my daughter already being upset with the whatsapp and me away from the party for 1 and a half hours, I took the cake and in principal paid the full price. This was now 16h45. When we opened the cake at 18h15 to eat, the armature ugly fat sugar art flowers fell flat on the cake. All 22 guests agreed that this cake was ugly and eating with your eyes first this was totally off putting to say the least. I wrote a complaint letter to Geraldine on email and reminded her a few days later to respond. No response from Geraldine.
