Shocking experience!! Ordered Lime and Soda, received Passion fruit and soda. Received white wine, no ice bucket, was informed that they didn't have any bread rolls. My wife ordered a meal with the daily vegetable, which we were told was creamed spinach and butternut, only received spinach, when inquiring about the lack of butternut, we were told that they are still making it, this at 13.45 on a Sunday. I ordered a sirloin with monkey gland sauce, which never arrived, after requesting it for a third time, I was told that I should choose another sauce as they were still making the sauce I requested, this at 14h00 on a Sunday. I asked to speak to the manager, Musa, he arrived to speak to us, and then informed us that the problem was due to not having stock and that he actually didn't know what the issue was as he only arrived for duty at 13.45. they only had one bottle of Haute Cabrierre, when ordering the 2nd we were offered a bottle of Boschendal Chardonnay, Once we receive out bill, at around 14.45, we were received our bill, still charged for the sauce we never received, a 300g sirloin in stead of the 200g sirloin we ordered. I went looking for Musa, found him and 3 of his female staff members having lunch, in the restaurant, I was told that they were all off duty, amazing as Musa only arrived for duty about an hout earlier! The worst experience I've had in years, will NEVER visit this restaurant again!! I will also tell all my friends about this shocking experience!! Hope you close down soon so that we can get a properly run steakhouse at the Silverstar. PS I was involved in the hospitality industry for 40 years from 1971 until 2011, this was by far the worst experience I have had in a supposed 5 star establishment, in fact Wimpy does a better job and is far better value for money!!!!!!!
