Vinis restaurant is one of a kind. Their menu is diverse and delicious. They have endless specials which accomodate every budget. Vinis has the best staff and it shows by them being so successful for more than 25 years! Vinis has always made our special occations one of a kind. Any occasion worth celebrating is one worth having at vinis as your 1st choice.

Food quality was average. 4 PRAWNS starter costed R96.The 1/4 grilled chicken was not tender..nor was it well prepared..we had a bite or 2 n returned it.The waiter made a feeble excuse n said i should have bought a 1/2 chicken.i told him..he charged me for the 1/4 chicken...so i should get a good quality meal.

Shocking experience!! Ordered Lime and Soda, received Passion fruit and soda. Received white wine, no ice bucket, was informed that they didn't have any bread rolls. My wife ordered a meal with the daily vegetable, which we were told was creamed spinach and butternut, only received spinach, when inquiring about the lack of butternut, we were told that they are still making it, this at 13.45 on a Sunday. I ordered a sirloin with monkey gland sauce, which never arrived, after requesting it for a third time, I was told that I should choose another sauce as they were still making the sauce I requested, this at 14h00 on a Sunday. I asked to speak to the manager, Musa, he arrived to speak to us, and then informed us that the problem was due to not having stock and that he actually didn't know what the issue was as he only arrived for duty at 13.45. they only had one bottle of Haute Cabrierre, when ordering the 2nd we were offered a bottle of Boschendal Chardonnay, Once we receive out bill, at around 14.45, we were received our bill, still charged for the sauce we never received, a 300g sirloin in stead of the 200g sirloin we ordered. I went looking for Musa, found him and 3 of his female staff members having lunch, in the restaurant, I was told that they were all off duty, amazing as Musa only arrived for duty about an hout earlier! The worst experience I've had in years, will NEVER visit this restaurant again!! I will also tell all my friends about this shocking experience!! Hope you close down soon so that we can get a properly run steakhouse at the Silverstar. PS I was involved in the hospitality industry for 40 years from 1971 until 2011, this was by far the worst experience I have had in a supposed 5 star establishment, in fact Wimpy does a better job and is far better value for money!!!!!!!

<p>We visited Steak Restaurant at Silverstar Casino on the 30/01/2017 for my birthday. I ordered my steak well done and it came as rare as it could be, sent it back and guess what came back excatly the same way, no change with the dirty plate and all. My husband's burger bun was so old it just crumbled. The manager and the waiter had an attitude of "oh well". I sent them and email the next day and lets just say i am still awaiting a response, how pathetic is that. Well they certainly wont get my business again, thats for sure. Thank you but no tahnks, will go elsewhere where we get the service and quality of food which we pay for.</p>

<p>We visited Steak Restaurant at Silverstar Casino on the 30/01/2017 for my birthday. I ordered my steak well done and it came as rare as it could be, sent it back and guess what came back excatly the same way, no change with the dirty plate and all. Just came back from Steak restaurant,what a bunch of beginners.The waiter was confused with everybodys order all around all tables he served.After waiting 30 minutes for our food i asked the waiter whats going on:he replied our food is on their way.15 minutes later after the waiter keeps walking pass as,i asked another waiter for the manager,where he didnt call him but only told my waiter we want the manager,another 5 minutes past and at last our waiter was at our table:"WITHOUT OUR FOOD",I also asked him to call the manager.Another 10 minutes passed and we all just stood up and walked out:By the door i asked the reception lady for the manager.Finally i saw the manager :which was full of excuses ass wel, my wife and kid was alredy outside so as he told me our food will be ready i told him to keep their food and SHUFF it.1 hour and 15 minutes still without food:PAthetic.Many other people also asked for their bill after only having drinks and no FOOD.Steak restuarant used to be good 2 years ago:BUT NOW every time an disapointment.
