When I enrolled my child with Curro Rivonia, I requested for a full year invoice, which took more than two months to get to my invoice despite getting kind of automated statements on a monthly basis since then. When I paid for the whole year, come December 2025, I was hit with a statement saying I owe Curro Rivonia. What an embarrassment, but tried to address it the finance team, and got it partially resolved, but since December ti March 2026, I'm still battling with getting a reversal that we identified with Curro Rivonia. I called their Head Office, collections department, and all I get are promises to call back, which does not happen. I can't believe how Curro treats customers who pay in advance for 10 or so months, despite the sacrifice for the Time Value For Money to the advantage of the school
Some security officers are unprofessional, it's like they were not trained at all. They harass community members and infringe their rights with arrogance. I was driving along Beyers Naude, received a call, decided to park and answer my cellphone. A security officer deployed at Ford (Paul Maher) approached me and signaled that he wanted to speak to me across the road and I indicated that i was on a call, would chat to him later. He never took heed of this signal, proceeded to my car and violently tried opening my door but couldn't coz it was locked. He insulted at me using f-words and I closed my windows but he kept on shouting and showing me his middle finger until his senior came to restrain him, of which I stopped on the phone and asked the pair what was this officer up to? His senior sounded understanding that the officer was on the wrong as he took him across the road back to Ford. The senior actually said I mustn't take it serious. I continued with my call but within a few minutes he was back with his cellphone taking a photo of my car. Surely SCP has a lot to be desired if the company is to compete as a professional service provider in the SA market. When I was done with my call, I signaled the officer to come and talk to me but he showed me his middle finger. Unfortunately my car is serviced by Ford, This conduct is not in line with the Ford that I know. Hoping Paul Maher and SCP Owner Clive Maher work on this asp, I have already made a decision not to take my Ford Ranger to the dealer anymore for services. Had they suspected that I was a thug strategizing how to steal from Ford, I guess justifiably so according to their level of thinking, surely if they are competent, they could have taken my registration number without even raising my attention then check with Joburg Metro. After-all how dare can a thug strategize by making a call in front of the premise. Unfortunately this did not come as a priority but to harass me for adhering to the Road Traffic act by not attending to my phone while driving without hands-free and related kit. This is unprofessional and incompetency that may land SCP in serious reputational damages. I can not recommend SCP for any corporate, community or any premise security services.
