Active since May 2018
My Girlfriend bought a Jeep Renegade from Active Auto in the beginning of February 2023 after seeing it on Active Auto’s website. We later found out that the vehicle was a CARZUKA vehicle that Active Auto Partners up with to sell vehicles. After taking delivery of the Vehicle the 10th of February 2023 and driving the vehicle over the weekend we found issues on the Vehicle. 1. Loss of power while driving 2. Sunroof wasn’t working. 3. Spare key wasn’t delivered with the vehicle (that is still with Carzuka) We notified the Active Auto the Monday off the issues, and they came to collect the vehicle on Thursday 16th of February to fix the problems. Since then, some of the issues has been fixed. The vehicle has been sent to multiple workshops even Jeep itself and no one has been able to fully fix the issues on vehicle. Since February she hasn’t even had the vehicle in her possession for a total of 3 weeks. To date, the vehicle still HASN’T been registered in her name and she is still waiting for the Spare key. She has requested numerous times for the deal to be cancelled but Active Auto (Fred Snr) refuses to cancel the deal. Fred Snr and Fred Jnr don’t reply to emails and don’t return voice messages that we left and when try to speak to them they are full of empty promises. It has been almost 5 months since she purchased the vehicle, and she hasn’t had any time to enjoy the vehicle that she looked forward to. THIS HAS BEEN AN EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE. Think twice before Buying a vehicle from Active Auto.
I would like to thank Gazette Bantam at King Price for her great help and assistance in handling the repair of my wife's vehicle and going the extra mile for arranging a courtesy vehicle for my wife after our rental car had to be returned to the rental company.
