They must rank amongst the worst but MIDAS Head Office provides an online presence and with it a customercare number to which number when an unsuspecting member of the public calls it is NEVER answered and similarly the customercare@midas.co.za is NOT EVER responded to! Not even the courtsey of a reply. This country is going to the dogs with gangsters having taken over virtually every aspect of our daily lives, right down to sophisticated assisinations and an assortment of other ****s gaining entry to the country or what is left of it after the treasonous actions of De Klerk.
I purchased a hake and chips combo at the Rivergate (Engen) outlet of this popular fast-food chain and having purchased from this outlet before expected the same levels of proficiency, expertise and service. Imagine my surprise and disgust, more so after the prolonged waiting period, the appalling and tasteless piece of fish and chips that looked, tasted and felt like that they were taken out of the freezer, hurriedly thawed, fried and given to me with a soggy and brittle piece of fish. I guess this is because the assumption is that since Rivergate and by extension the entire area is geographically populated in the majority by people of colour, it was okay to provide such appalling service and (2) take into employ people/individuals drawn from the local community and who knows, what levels of prior training or skills they possess.
