Clientelle Rot in Hell
They called me at the beginning of December after my Mom had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer and was given 3-6 months to live. The salesperson assured me that there was no waiting period for their funeral plan and that she would be covered from day 1. They then proceeded to take 3 payments/debits from me. Just before my mom's passing in January, I called them just to check up on something small, to which I then found out that my ID number is listed on their system under "Emmanuel Nkosi" - which we then opened a case for investigation. I still have not heard back regarding that, so I can only assume some guy is paying monthly premiums and when he actually dies, they won't have his correct ID number either, so he will get scammed as well. Then, I was informed that one has to be signed up with them for a minimum of 6 months in order to claim. I told them that the salesperson had told me something different, to which another investigation was opened. After 10 days, my mom's passing and us forking out for the funeral ourselves, they called back and said that YES the person did say that I would be covered from day one (lied to me), but that just before the call ended, he proceeded to read me the terms and conditions and legal jargon, which included the phrase "applicants must be signed up for 6 months to claim". I wouldn't know because I was lied to again and told that they would send me a copy of the recording, for which I'm still waiting. This company is the biggest FRAUD and scammers I've ever seen. Clientele preys on the weak and vulnerable in their darkest hour of need. Its almost like they knew I had a family member who was terminal and called me just to con me into a funeral plan for R355p/m only to place more stress and financial strain on my family. I doubt they even care about reviews like this and I will probably not even receive any feedback or closure for this matter. They stole R710 from me during my biggest time of need and I think that this company is the most disgusting piece of garbage I've ever encountered in my life. I hope you all rot in hell for what you do to these poor innocent people in suffering.
