My father cancelled his account in May 2021. From June 2021,CellC has not stopped the debit order. He has queried this 15 times already, every time a different agent with a different reason as to why the account hasn't been cancelled. I called last week to find out that there is no existing account for my father and the debit order will be canceled. Reference numbers and times, dates are all recorded however it seems like CellC just doesn't care, incompetence or exploit the elderly. I would caution anyone taking out a CellC contract.
What an experience.... I bought my Volvo from Bloemfontein in 2018. The initial experience from Anso was next level customer service. I was extremely satisfied with my purchase and the process. 3 years later....and nothing has changed. I took my car in just for an oil top up and the service manager Abrie was so accommodating that he did my 60 000kms service as well. time saved on my side, definitely. everyone at Volvo Bloemfontein from the managers to the drivers are so friendly, polite and courteous. Thank you Anso, Abrie and team. I appreciate your assistance and will recommend your branch any day.
I bought laptops for my children during lockdown for online schooling. The laptop shop was the only essential services provider at the time. After making payment, they gave me a run around to get the last laptop. I eventually had to take legal action to get the laptop. They are not located in Kraaifontein as the delivery address says on the courier packaging. The Cape Town address is a open space in the cbd. Please don't put yourself under such stress. Names such as Shaun, Jay just keep texting that they will call back and never do.
Dear Readers We have fallen victim to the unethical service provider, Secure Living, based in Glen Vista. On the 31st August 2016, I paid Secure Living R60 000 for installation of vinyl floors at our property. It is almost 2 years and the work has not been done. Every-time we scheduled a date for installation, Lisa or Vincent would not show up. Their phones would go to voicemail. Days later, we will get a message that the shipment from overseas did not arrive. On the 13th January 2017, I visited their premises in Glen Vista. Again, they promised to do the work and reassured us that they are in some connection with Maxidor, hence they can be trusted. After that, no word. We then sought legal assistance, who are also struggling to get our money back from them. I have appealed to Maxidor to assist us as Lisa and Vincent seem to use the reputation of Maxidor to their advantage but we had no joy. Lisa and Vincent has taken our money with no intention of doing the work or paying it back. Has service providers become so dishonest that taking money from clients and not returning it is acceptable to them? Had Secure Living provided a service to us and we defaulted payment, what would the consequences have been for us, the consumer? But it seems that the service provider can get away with anything. Today, 13th July 2018, our lawyer advised us that Lisa agreed to sign the acknowledgement of debt but yet again, at close of business, Lisa is unreachable. Readers, please be weary of paying before the work is done, no matter how trustable the provider seems.
