!!FALSE ADVERTISING!! I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the lack of clarity and transparency in OnePlan pet Insurance. I recently submitted a claim for and emergency that involved x-rays and sonars, as well as sterilization. Yes they payed R1650 for each but to what cost of mine. I was informed that the claim was denied because the policy only provides coverage under the Hospital Plan, which applies only when a pet is kept overnight. Furthermore, I was told that X-rays, sonars, and surgeries are not covered unless my pet is admitted overnight. As far as I know x-rays and sonars and surgeries are done in a hospital. At no point during the policy purchase process, nor in the documentation I reviewed, was this condition clearly stated. The policy wording and sales materials are misleading and fail to disclose that diagnostic procedures and surgeries are excluded unless the pet stays overnight. Such a limitation materially affects coverage and should have been clearly highlighted at the time of sale. This is a lack of transparency and misrepresentation of the scope of coverage. I entered into the agreement under the reasonable belief that necessary diagnostic and surgical procedures would be covered as part of standard veterinary care, regardless of whether an overnight stay was required. The brochure states that hospital and diagnosis, x-rays and sonars are covered up to a total of R55 000.00 Further more you wait up to months for feedback and you have to call them they don't call you.
Ordered a takeaway from them for breakfast. 1) they take so long to make it 2) the chips were cold when I received it. 3) I received bacon that was sc****d off from someone elses plat that had mushrooms. Now you my think they fry the mushrooms and bacon in one pan but the are not aloud to. Im so disgusted. On a separate occasions at the same place i order a takeaway chips yet again I received chips sc****d off someones plate it had the green parsley still one and some tomato sauce.
