A fantastic start when I was promised to be collect from the airport to come and view a car I had found on their website. This was organized on Monday to come and view on Wednesday. They were an hour late to collect me. However everything seemed in order when I viewed the car, it seemed to run well and was in good condition (the new paint job was a worry), I discussed in length any issues and I was promised many times that from their side there shouldn't be any and they only sell quality vehicles. Needless to say I asked to purchase the vehicle as it seemed a fair price for the car in its condition. I was supposed to drive the vehicle back from Randburg to Pmb that day which is the reason for the early flight and collection. I ended up sitting at the dealership until 7 that night with endless dodging from the owner and staff. This only started after the payment was done and I then was told at around 3 that the vehicle hadn't had its COR done yet and it shouldn't take too long (all while I had to sit and just wait). Firstly it's impossible for the vehicle to have passed COR as the seat was ripped even when I eventually got it back, they had to change the windscreen wiper and the lights and tyres. But the worst is when you get it back to your mechanic he says they would never have passed it due to many more issues. I wonder how he gets it through, well I think we all know. Anyway I now find out the gearbox is completely destroyed and needs to be replaced. Nice to know what kind of cars these people sell. Even the mechanic across the road said he had looked at it in length and it is all good. Seems like the mileage it has on the clock (60000kms) may be false as the vehicle should never have done a gearbox already. Anyway no apology from the owner who made me book, and pay for my own hotel for the night as they had made me late by being so disorganized. If you do, by some misfortune, find yourself at this establishment make sure you don't let him hide behind this rubbish warranty he offers to by pass the guarantee most dealers give to a customer when purchasing a vehicle (3-6months any issues will be repaired by them). Because as you drive out of the store you are on your own even if it's 10 m down the road when the car goes bang (which I'm sure it will). Horrific experience and I will make sure I never go there again and also try help other would be buyers miss out on a terrible ordeal.
We purchased and paid 90% of an insulated, refrigerated trailer that had a solar powered refrigerated unit on it around April last year. We were promised this trailer in 1 month, however we received it about 4 months later, after hundreds of phone calls where we were either told the trailer was nearly finished or on its way to be delivered to us when in actual fact it was still far from finished in the workshop (we eventually had to send a lawyer to the premises to get an answer). The level of dishonesty we received was the most disappointing part of the whole ordeal, until we received the trailer. Thankful we had finally received our trailer which looked good we soon discovered the many faults, poor finishing and attention to detail on the trailer once we had used it for a short while (The trailer also incomplete and did not have the meat rails we had ordered and paid for, which then took another month to get a refund for). > The box the inverter was installed in was so poorly made that if it rained all the water would go straight into the box, the water from the refrigeration unit was piped straight on top of the inverter box which also went straight into the box. We eventually paid R15000 to fix the box and replace the inverter which had now been destroyed by water with in only a few weeks of receiving the trailer. > The entire box shifted from the center of the trailer to the right edge as the bolts attaching it to the chassis were not tight enough meaning the trailer wheel started to rub against the body of the trailer which took more money and time to fix. > The entire box of the trailer was attached to the chassis using pop rivets and poor welding, I then had to replace all of this with large *****s and welding to make it more table so the box didn't come off during travel which it almost did and which is why we went to these lengths to fix it. > On the 24th of July 2018 the V shaped part of the chassis underneath the box broke completely, to our surprise we have found that there was a tiny piece of welded metal holding that bar to the above bar. This trailer is supposed to be able to carry 1.3 tons which we have never loaded into it. It is impossible that this kind of workmanship would support that weight. If I could add pictures I would. Unfortunately the trailer we purchased is actually falling to pieces and we will have to again spend money to fix this trailer as what we were promised was NOT WHAT WE GOT. We are so disappointed in what we purchased for our business and will never do it again.
