Hello Support at Airbnb So I am very upset – I am a very organized person and has used Airbnb a few times before and even told my friends to use it. My brother and I have been saving for our “brother-sister-trip” a long time awe have a budget. I was organized and made sure that all our things were planned long for before the time to get the best prices and accommodation possible. I booked out accommodation on the 9 November 2017 for 10-16 August 2018 and paid R3 514.71. The perfect place and I was very happy. Reservation code: HM5RSZ8YF4. I tried to confirm (send message on Airbnb site) with the host twice to make sure everything was still ok with on response. Today, two days before my fight I get the following message : ” Hi! I just find out that the flat is on listning, i dont understand why. i had a huge maintance breakdown at spring and i canceled all the guest and turned off booking. i didnt check the page very long time afo cause i was sure its off!! im really sorry for the inconvinient. if you cancel it you will get back all your money from the site(i dont have any of your money)……” This was perfect accommodation in our price range and only 38 min walk or 15 min drive from Hajógyári Island NOW everything in the 60 min walk or 20 min drive from Hajógyári Island is like R10 000 (ZAR) on Airbnb. The cancellation only want to give me back R1401.72 out of R3514.71 and I did not even want to cancel. I got a hotel off Airbnb for R9000 (ZAR) and still no refund! I want my money back and more the extra travel fees and extra cost I mean this cannot be OK with AIRBNB I have already logged a ticket Nr ********** 8 CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE COME BACK TO ME
