These are literally the worst insurance brokers you will ever come across. Especially Gugu and Liz. So ready to take your money, but do absolutely nothing to help your claim. After fighting with them for nearly a year, I eventually got assisted by going to the ombudsman. Take your money and run, or don't say I didn't warn you
We have had the worst experience with this company. Our car was collected on Thursday and supposed to arrive in JHB on Tuesday, Monday morning we get a message it is going to arrive Tuesday, Monday evening we get a message, sorry there is a problem it will only arrive Friday. Friday comes and we get a message that they had another problem and we might get our car on Sunday... over a week later!!! This is a small unreliable company with unreliable moving trucks. My advice is pay the extra one or two thousand rand and move your car with a reliable company with reliable trucks and decent customer service. The owner said to my husband, "whats wrong, dont you have another car" - while we have another small car, we actually only have 1 family car that can fit my whole family- which is still on the truck! This has been disgraceful. Edited to add: Owner then replied on Google Business refuting claims that my husband spike to him. Not only did he speak to him once but 3 times. And then saying that they warned us our car was going to be late, what when we were supposed to pick it up, that's when they "warned" us. I can take that breakdowns happen, but 2 in one trip, and the terrible customer service, and then on top of it lying about it... that's the cherry on the top folks. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Service was absolutely shocking. Parcel was supposed to be collected on the 19th of March and delivered 25th of March, parcel was only collected on the 30th of March and delivered 31st of March, only after me following up twice with the call center. Still haven't received any compensation for late delivery, nor any reply to numerous emails I've sent, nor an apology. Stay away from parcelspot.
So now you wonder why places like Leroy Merlin spend so much money on advertising only to send customers away with their poor service. I see the advert in the North Eastern Tribune for bar stools, try to buy them online, their site doesnt work. Ok I have a bit of time so go to their store. First thing that baffles me, you walk into their store with tons of green tshirts chatting amongst themselves and yet you have to search for someone to help you. Eventually found someone... looking to buy 6 barstools from their advert in the newspaper which no one seems to know about... do you have stock?... yes we do, let's go pay... just about to pay... wait we only have 3 in stock... ok let's go back and update order and order 3 more, but wait if you want us to deliver to you you have to pay R100 or you can schlep back to us when we eventually get your order. Ok... whatever... I go and pay. Then you must now go drive your car to collections, hand in your slip... 10 min later... sorry we only have 2 of the chairs, please go back inside to get a refund for the 3rd chair... by this time I actually just had to leave to fetch my kids from school... left without the chairs... please tell manager to call me... have I heard from them... Nope Call the call centre... they'll get back to me... have I heard back... nope
Gave this online ballet store a chance by ordering from them and it was a total disaster. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere. I chose the free delivery option, they then called a week later to tell me there isnt a free delivery option and I explained on their online site there is. The lady said she would get back to me. She never did. Until I called 3 weeks later, they still hadn't sorted anything out. Basically they were happy to keep my money and hope I forgot about my order. Its called stealing...
I saw these amazing plastic clipboards and I asked where they were from, and I was told Valuegro. I then called Valuegro and ordered these clipboards. They delivered the wrong ones. I called them and they said they would exchange them that very day, low and behold... nothing. For the next 3 months I received an invoice for these clipboards, each time replying that they had delivered the wrong ones, and I wanted the correct ones. Eventually I got an extremely rude phone call asking why I hadn't paid for the clipboards which they delivered, I again explained they were the wrong ones. Then today they came to collect their clipboards, no new clipboards, no explanation, nothing. Now you tell me, if a company cannot even organize you to get the 3 correct clipboards you ordered, how are they supposed to deal with bigger orders.... Stay far away.
Please please please, do not use Makro Online. They are completely dysfunctional. We had a bad experience in December last year and I swore never to use them again. However we saw a good deal on a printer, so we ordered it to be collected from the shop... because we didnt want to use the delivery as its such a mess. The Woodmead shop then didn't have the item in stock (eventhough it showed online that it did), so they contacted us to say they have it in Centurion and they will send it to us, we send them our address. Ok... the next thing we know we get an sms that they are delivering the printer to our holiday address in CAPE TOWN. After frantic phone calls to the courier company we eventually sort it out. Then the printer we find out has no wifi or network connectivity and we would like to return it. I call Makro Online, they tell me its not a problem they will send a courier to collect it. The next week nothing has been collected. I call again, I am promised the printer will be collected the next day... low and behold it is not collected. The next week I call back, they promise me it will be collected the next day - has it been collected - you guessed, no it has not and it has been another week. I am at my wits end what to do to get this printer collected and us reimbursed.
